The #24 WARHAWKS rallied from a 5 point halftime deficit to defeat #13 Illinois Wesleyen 60-51 and claim the Champion Classic Tournament Championship.  Mia Gillis paced the Hawks with 22 points and was named the tournament's MVP. Renee Rittenmeyer added a 12/11 double-double to the winning effort.

Great interview with Brad Fischer of UWO WBB.  Really enjoyed it although he didn't talk about the rivalry with UW Stevens Point WBB.  I need to see if he believes in the Battle for Hilltop Grub I want to get going between these teams.

The #24 WARHAWKS and Carroll played to six ties and twelve lead changes before the WARHAWKS used a 23-15 scoring advantage in the final stanza to pull out a 73-62 win over the Pioneers.  Renee Rittenmeyer led four WARHAWKS in double figures with a 24/11 double-double.  Mia Gillis added 16 points. Bri McCurdy hit two buzzer beating threes and finished with 13 points.  Freshman Brooke Stenklyft finished with 10 points.
