I did a little search. I didn't see any news about him attending another university, but I did see a news article about his rejoining the Lansing Common Football Club, a semipro Midwest Premier League team.

My understanding is that he is at Calvin but focusing on academics this year.

Quote from: Kuiper on July 08, 2025, 12:00:14 PMI get this, but I don't love it.  Calvin opened a beautiful new soccer field and stadium last fall and this summer they broke ground for a football stadium after they began a new football program last fall.  Unfortunately, they will reportedly be playing football this fall in the new soccer stadium.  I guess that means they will be painting football lines on this pristine soccer field for a season.

Here's a photo of the new Calvin soccer stadium and field (without football lines)

Well, the field survived its first football game. There were no football lines the day before the football game, and there was a full set of lines the next day, and they were basically gone again the following day, the field was back to normal.

I guess the line painting robot can be filled with non-permanent paint.

Extra stands brought seating capacity up to 3000.

In an interesting DI-DIII MIAA matchup, Hope is tied with Notre Dame 1-1 in the 36th minute.

FINAL:  Notre Dame 3 - Hope 2

Pretty nice showing by Hope in this game.  Game was tied 2-2 until ND got the winner in the 83rd minute
