Indeed Ira R. Herr Field at Etown is being replaced by turf. In the 90s, I can assure you it was one of the best surfaces in the country. Sad to see the demise of high-quality grass fields.

Wow did not know! Explains why the F&M Boot game is two years in a row in Lancaster. Probably means that they'll play it twice in row in Etown starting next year. I was gonna say, I'm pretty sure we played them in, like 90 or 91 and it felt like walking on the fairway at a nice golf course. I might be conflating it with Rowan (glasboro st.)... I'll go look.

IMO, the best the Centennial Conf is going to do concerning tournament qual is maybe 2 teams this year. Most Cent Conf teams played mediocre out of conf. teams this year. It may be down to AQ only unless the best team in CC is upset in the final. Obv. still a lot of games to played.

You may be right, but I wouldn't extrapolate from the USC rankings for that prediction. The NPI ranking of your team and the teams you play is the key. For example, according to the NPI simulator linked in that thread, Franklin & Marshall is the highest NPI Centennial Conference team right now.

Haverford is currently 5-0-1 right now. Last season they went 10-0-10 so over 26 games 15-0-11. All together they have only giving up 10 goals. That is a .38 goals against avg. They tied the only Cent. Conf. playoff game and lost in pks (first time in CC tournament since 2019).

Obv. they did not play anyone decent except Cent. Conf. teams (3-0-6 in conf. play and 0-0 against F&M) and the Fords still haven't this season. First CC game this weekend against Gberg. So they may be team to watch.
