Interesting move going from the Best Defense in the conference to the worst. I'm curious to see how much the Cougars can improve in his first year running that D.
I am pleased to see this. CUC's defense literally has nowhere to go but up as they had the worst scoring defense in the country last year. I'm curious what lured him to River Forest.

And that's with Eureka (and they still allowed 27 points to them) on the schedule. Big woof on that D

New OC announced at Ben U. I'm told former OC and Lakeland legend Michael Whitley is stepping down to take a break from coaching after 1 season calling plays. Stepping in  at OC for the Eagles is SNC alum Ryan Kaltenmark. Coach Kaltenmark has served as OC for the Cornell College Rams in the previous 2 seasons.

It's never too early to get excited for some football. As a Wisconsinite and a Wabash graduate I've been blessed to have my Little Giants playing in state the last two years. A buddy and I are planning on heading up to watch SNC vs WC. Anyone got any recommendations or thoughts for a first time visitor to SNC?

Also, fun note - I'm a graduate of UWSP as well, so for at least the first two weeks of this season I'll be rooting against the Green Knights, but after that I wish everyone in the NACC well. I'd love to see Aurora get some competition this year.
A fan of good football - wherever it may be found.

Usually not a ton of activity on this board, so I'm not sure how much luck you'll have getting a response. I know when we played at SNC when I was in school, we toured Lambeau field. That was alright, but the tour guide spent most of the tour giving grief to myself and the one other Minnesotan we had on the team. That was pretty lame.

My neighbors are SNC alums. I'll ask them for recommendations and report back.

The Green Knights are NACC short timers. I have yet to make it up to SNC but it's not hard to have a good time anywhere north of the cheddar curtain. Just stick to encased meats, curds and your favorite New Glarus brew and you'll be fine.
