Barnes is a much better QB when not playing Wabash!

And here comes Mr. Rice.  Lose the zone read and probably a little of the rushing yards when he is in...  but passing game will get a huge lift.   Love a left handed QB....
Why should you go for it on 4th down?

There is something inherently American about a southpaw that can sling it

Injury on our last offensive drive up 31-8. Right in that limbo area between pulling our starters.

The final from Henry Field, Hiram 31 Kenyon 8

Partridge threw for 410 yards breaking a school record, Philander had over 215 yards receiving, and our running back by committee more than compensated for some of the missing starters.

Price dialed up some blitz packages today that the Kenyon front simply could not deal with down the stretch.

Stamford balanced the run and pass very well, setting up a couple 40+ yard completions on play action. All together well executed game by the Terriers, save the blocked field goal before half. Big conference game coming up next week. Go Terriers!

Watching OWU and the broadcasters keep talking about how the short fields are making the difference.  To be fair, it doesn't look like it would matter if Wabash started each drive on the 1.  Little Giant offense is on a roll.

Oh no! Not Partridge, I hope?

Good for the Terriers getting into the W column again :)

When was the last time Hiram was over .500 this late in the season?
I was small but made up for it by being slow...

No, no. It was a tight end and he walked off of the field. In 2008, the Terriers had a 3-7 season but I do not think they were .500 after week five.

Hiram now has a very legitimate shot at the #4 spot in the conference. Although that setback against Allegheny really put a damper on it. Nonetheless, Hiram played extremely well today and played team football. Can't wait for next week.

Half -  Denison with 200 yards of offense.   Witt's only touchdown on a kickoff return for a TD... Big Red Playing tonight.

Rice has a crazy strong arm! I bet he could throw the ball 70-80 yards and his short to mid range passes are lasers. Couple turnovers for the LG's defense today which was nice to see. If they could start getting 3-4 turnovers a game like last year look out! Zurek is a beast! Holmes at times still looks like he's not 100% sure about his knee but still is outstanding. Eric Downing has been putting the pancake blocks on some people and has  had some outstanding games the last 2 weeks.
GO BASH!

Witt 13
Dennison 9
Halftime
Witt ran a kickoff back for a TD. Dennison's defense must be playing heck of a game.
