2nd Final

RHIT    24
EC       16

Final

I was impressed with EC's passing game at times.  They have some big targets.  Nice effort Quakers!

Why should you go for it on 4th down?

If I'm counting right, the NCAC is going to be 1-6 once the Oberlin game goes final.  Not exactly the start I was hoping for.   :-\

Just left the Wheaton vs. Wabash scrimmage with 30 seconds left in the 3rd quarter... score was Wheaton 31 - Wabash 0.

I'll be typing up as unbiased an opinion possible of what I saw shortly...

Wally: Just like last year...I miss one, maybe two games on the Vegas...The rest of you guys will need the jump on me anyway....Looking at 2007, the Bishops could go 0-4 right out of the gate..today is disappointing...but, I have too keep my eye on the prize...The NCAC Championship...GO BISHOPS

wow.... the results from the Wheaton scrimmage are a little concerning.  Look forward to your comments.

Before Wally thinks about jumping off a bridge...I have some details on Bash.  Score was 10-0 at half and my source said it was very even with a lot of hitting going on, he said you could tell both teams were very solid.  Said it could have easily been 10-0 the other way.  Huff came out in the 3rd and threw back to back INTs - one they took back for a TD and one that they ran back inside the 15.  His 3rd series in the 3rd Q he got sacked deep - not a great way to end a "tune up."  I also know Bash held out some BIG weapons (more precautionary) on O so that may have impacted the shutout.

Not exactly the report I was hoping to hear but we go "live" next week in a big one.

GO BASH!

Ugly day for the NCAC is right.

hmmm..... lets hope Witt plays well.

I was just telling LG that I'm not too concerned about the scrimmage.  Wheaton has typically outscored Wabash in these things over the last few  years.  CC has been pretty cautious (rightly so) with his scrimmages ever since a certain stud RB twisted an ankle in the Red/White in '04.  I'd much rather get pasted in a scrimmage vs. Wheaton than go into next week with a 1st team full of walking wounded.

Obviously I'd have liked to see some points on the board, but I'm not going to hit the panic button.  Mugsy will have some more first hand insight on this a little later.
