Quote from: DagarmanSpartan on January 28, 2025, 06:21:01 PMI just noticed that CWRU now has Wabash back on the schedule for the first time in years.

Great to renew the series.

CWRU loses some great players from last season, but will hopefully put up a good fight!

I'm excited for this. I remember fondly those playoff battles in 2007 and 2008. I have nothing but respect for CWRU and Coach Debeljak. I hope it's a great game.

That's a really nice recruiting win for the new staff.  The portal has made the recruiting process for HS players unpredictable to say the least.

Finally found out John Carroll's non-conference schedule! We're opening at Waynesburg, followed by a trip to Johns Hopkins! If the team doesn't visit the crypt where the actual John Carroll is buried on the trip to Baltimore, I'm pretty sure that would be bad luck lol

I feel like if we drive to Baltimore and lose by four scores, the Mount Union fans won't be able to resist telling us "you could've stayed in the OAC and gotten an equally good butt kicking just 60 minutes away."

Wooster Hire

Haha - Wooster hired a local HS coach.  Sure, he's an alum and has a little D3 coordinator experience, but I can't wait to see how this turns out!
It's either a thoughtful comment or smartass sarcasm. Recognize the difference.

9 yrs as Denison's OC is "a little"?

CollegeGolf18

Yeah, I mean I don't think that is a crazy bad hire? He ran great offenses at Denison.

Interesting analysis given the resume of our current head coach.

I really like the Austin Holter hire for Wooster.  He spent a lot of years coaching with and learning from Jack Hatem at Denison who I think is a really good coach.  If he can get the Scots to play even a smidgen of defense, they can be a good team.
