I know they had a Heartland College Day at the Dome at least once. (I found 1986 vs. Anderson and I did PA as a college junior). The issue is that while it drew a large crowd for Wabash, in the old Hoosier Dome it looked totally empty.

It appears that Oberlin College isn't the only football team in Oberlin with a numbers problem.

Oberlin College lists only 41 players on its website.  16 are Fr. 12 Sr Only 5 are Jr. Only 8 are So. That's only 29 next season if all return..

16 Fr is a slight improvement over 2025 which had only 13 Fr.

"playing time" is a foreign cocept at OBE.  EVERY game they demand reduced clock time.

They're 4-56 the last 6 seasons.  At some point the combination of player safety, lack of competitiveness and, to be honest, unfairness to the rest of the NCAC has to force that discussion.  The safety is the main thing.  Oberlin can be bad, but at least if they had numbers and played full games the other NCAC teams could get their backups/young guys game snaps.
