Coach Walker is a very impressive man. Clearly he as done a great job at RF and every interview he gives reinforces his down to earth approach and straight forward honesty with his players.

He compares North Central with the Mt Union dynasty and the run UWW went on and says these teams are "boringly better than everyone at every position". I find that an apt description of this NCC team. He also describes this game as a clash of styles. NCC wants to control the clock and the ball and RF wants to go fast and run a lot of plays.

Fun to watch.......

Boring quote is a great one.

And totally agree, the "styles make fights" phrase applies perfectly to this matchup. Can NCC keep possessions down and grind away or can UWRF get NCC to play at their pace? The key there probably rest in turnovers and can UWRF's get enough stops. NCC will get a handful of stops and possessions where UWRF doesn't score. Can UWRF's do the same, or does it become a slow death by thousand paper cuts, aka 5-7 yd rushes. Is UWRF front 7 good enough to play NCC straight up, or will they have to start bringing safeties into the box, exposing themselves to NCC's hyper efficient passing attack?

Blaha being effective running it, and staying healthy is obvious. Sneaky wrinkle, how good is the UWRF kicker, because NCC's guy has a massive leg. On a day above 20 degrees, his range is out to 50+ yds.
