I think he can throw ;D

I watched them play Loyola Academy, an annual 8A powerhouse, and Mt. Carmel was too much. That team is loaded. Big linemen too...

USee, the way it's gone lately, UWW OC's would break the new QB of all of those bad habits like throwing slant routes and other timing routes, as well as that nasty inclination to hand the ball to a running back.

CarrollFan, thanks for posting the article. I didn't realize the Mt. QB is part of the incredible family tradition w the program. I'd love to see him at UWW as he is a gamer.

Fremd will be up against it for sure. If you get the chance to watch the game (NFHS), you'll see Fremd has a tremendous QB as well- committed last year to Northwestern. His receiving corps is really tough- one has full ride to Northern Illinois.

I think Emma's great-grandnephew's cousin has a full ride to Northern Illinois.

The Mt. Carmel HC, Jordan Lynch, was a QB at NIU. I think he was actually in the running for the Heisman. Small stint with Bears and then led Edmonton Eskimos of CFL to Grey Cup victory.

Partially true. Priority walk on.

What is true is my cousin's son started at running back for two years at Mt Carmel and was blessed w the ultimate redemption opportunity. His junior year in state championship game he fumbled late fourth quarter- and Main South's great kicker/receiver hit the game winning field goal.
Following season again in state championship and he scores two touchdowns and they get the victory.

That's great, not often you get back and have a chance to redeem the moment!

What an easy path to the finals our UWW team has. Should be a cakewalk. Probably will be able to let the starters rest second half of all the games until MAYBE the semifinals? Then we can let our baby Warhawks get some playoff experience.
We should take this off week to maybe change up the offense. Maybe install the wishbone. Just pound that _ock down everyone's throat these playoffs. Now THAT sounds like a recipe for success. You know, get back to that 80's offense that worked so well on all collegiate levels. Screw adapting to the times!!!
I mean A Klunker can't complete a pass past 4 yds, so why not.
Even when we get down 20....wishbone.
SEE Y'ALL AT THE STAGG BOWL.

Stout wins the Isthmus Bowl today over Wash U 31-23.

As the Culver's Isthmus Bowl was in my neck of the woods, and it wasn't too cold, figured I'd go. Got treated to what turned into a great game. Congrats to the Stout Blue Devils for a big win, securing a winning season, and taking home a bowl trophy after a tough loss last year.

As a Wabash alumnus (and also UWSP) I look forward to seeing Wash U in the future, as they had a very good team, but Stout just took over with the ground game midway through the second quarter and just never looked back.

If you ever get a chance to make it to the Isthmus bowl, it's a pretty neat opportunity, and was a nice venue, so my suggestion - do it!

Once again congrats Stout on a very good season in a very tough conference.
A fan of good football - wherever it may be found.

Congrats to the Blue Devils on a nice win. Way to represent the WIAC.  Beating the #3 team in the #3 ranked  conference by D3football.com is a good look! Wash U is a good team and had a really nice year, coming into the game at 8-2. Their only losses were to North Central and a four point loss to Wheaton.
