73-7 final score not surprising considering spectacular ineptitude of Southern Virginia. The Knights could not get the ball into Falcon half of field entire first half.Falcon punter never used. McDevitt a better passer than Blaha, but not as good a runner.McDevitt did not play again after 5 minutes of second half.Falcons could have scored another td, but to Coach Wissing's credit he had them take a knee last 3 plays on about 12 yard line.

Falcon D absolutely smothering, considered to be their strongest point coming into season.

At Coe and Wartburg will be tough tests in next 2 weeks. Then at WW.

We can't judge what type of runner he is after this game.  It was his first start in 3 years.  Why risk his health in a blowout.  Very elusive, wonderful job of avoiding the rush.  Should have been sacked, at least once, maybe twice even.  Did get hit low so you have to be careful.  It's a long season. 
2 needs of improvement:
O-line, I see they made changes early in the game.
Secondary got beat 3 times deep.  They only hit it once for a long TD.  Other time a pass interference. 
They should have no problem with Coe.

Solid win last night for UW-River Falls. Not surprising at all, but a good win.If anyone thought they wouldn't be any good, they were a little naive.

What we learned nothing about is whether they are 2024 good or 2025 elite. We won't get a hint of that until Wartburg in two weeks.

In 2024 they beat Greenville 66-7, Mt. St. Joseph 68-9, and Eau Claire 71-14 before proceeding to lose three of their next four WIAC games. They might be that again.

In 2025 we all know how they dominated. They might be that again.

Yesterday was what it was always going to be. A fun home game after winning the natty that told us virtually nothing.

Just like the second half last year against UW-LACROSSE.  Nothing but screwups from the Whitewater coaching staff.  Just forgot about 8 seniors?  I hope you guys keep Rindahl as the head coach for many years to come.

I would guess both.  Last year against Linfield Coach Jennings had both Keene (QB) AND Korth (RB) start.  He's probably going to do the same thing.

Well...UWW sure didn't come out flat to start the season. Kept foot on gas, starters out in 3rd quarter.

Blugolds hold off Alma for a 23-15 win at home. Overall a solid performance that ended in a but more drama than it should have at the end of thr game with some poor clock management and play calling.
