Quote from: colinsteinke on Yesterday at 11:08:05 AMAn 8-2 UWW has about a 60% chance of making it in as an at large. I get that's not cut and dry, but it's also not 0. I think it ends up depending on if they beat UWP or UWRF (or both) and how Carleton ends up. But it's too early to say that the WIAC is only guaranteed two spots.

Though you are right. There are fewer AQs this year. And LaCrosse going 0-2 was not on my WIAC playoff team bingo card...they need to run the table to get in now, and they're not going to.

There are more AQs. There are fewer at-larges.

Thanks for the correction, Pat. Definitely should have my coffee before hopping on the boards.

8-2 UWW won't make the playoffs if the loses are to River Falls and Platteville.  What Top 25 would they have beaten then?

7 D3 victories:
Carlton
Keystone HA HA 😂
S Point
EU Claire
La Crosse
Oshkosh
Stout

Not 1 signature win, by Whitewater or any of these teams.

Welcome to the Culver's Bowl.

I could see UW-W,UW-RF, and UW-P all going 1-1 against each other and running the rest of the table. What would that mean in terms of the playoffs?

9-1 is MUCH DIFFERENT than 8-2.

Now I don't know who gets the automatic bid in that case.  But Whitewater would have the lowest NPI of the 3, IF ALL 3 are 9-1.
