Thank you for sharing. The players seem ready to go and Coach as well- I appreciate his self-critique.

If I had one question- I'd ask: Do you envision a game ever again where you'd only hand the ball to a running back 3 times in the first half?
I believe his answer to that would be more telling than any question he answered.

I see former Whitewater K Seth Adams transfered to FCS Southern Illinois.  He was a good kicker for them.  Might be a critical lose in the WIAC this season.

Are UW-W football players real students?  I know they used transfers a lot in MBB.

Anyone have any info on the Whitewater/Dubuque scrimmage?
Coach Finstock - "There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that and everything else is cream cheese."

Oh yes, they're much more studenty since I went in the 80's.

Does MBB stand for men's basketball or baseball?

Yes. 66 UW-Whitewater football players made the WIAC scholastic honor roll.

Here's a question I haven't seen for the 2026 season.

1) Will all the current head coaches still be with their current team, Next Year at this time? (the start of 2027?)

2) If you answer No, who then?

I think all the coaches will be back.

Would be interesting to know if Dan Arnold would be interested in a head coaching job at any WIAC school not named Platteville.  I see he moved up to quarterback/passing coordinator coach this upcoming season.
