What are the new team rules?  What type of unis did they go with?

I give you the new Central unis...

Ok, ok...that is the new Indiana uni.  But it would be fun to see the geriatric portion of the Central fanbase go into meltdown mode if the Dutch unveiled that as their new helmet!!!
I still haven't gotten over the red pants they tried some years ago.  Why would anyone want to mess with perfection?

For those that like the classic white pants, like Fannosaurus...and those like to try new things like red pants...why not compromise and have both?

And throw in a basketball inspired jersey while you're at it?!?!

The chair throwing helmet is priceless!

I just hope Central stays away from Under Armour...not a fan of those unis.  Staying away from red on red is also probably a good idea.  I saw an older picture where they tried this (mid 90's or so I'd say), and it didn't look very good.  I do think the white on white look they do on the road every once in a while looks good.  I'm biased, of course, but I think Central's classic home look is the sharpest in the conference.

That is exactly who they're going with from what im hearing from several people. Evidently players already got there hands on the jerseys and love them. They say they won't anger the old fans who love the tradition either. Im very curious how they balanced that...may need to take a road trip over to Pella for a scrimmage or open practice or whatever they do now for a tune-up before the season kicks off.

I think you may have to wait until the season starts to see the jerseys or take a trip to the football office.

Well, I'm glad they tried to stick with the traditional look.  I'm sure they will look sharp...just hope they didn't go too crazy.  Went out to the UA website, and I think they could have really screwed things up or done a great job of honoring the traditional look while also keeping up with the times.  Hopefully it was the latter.

Wartburg is almost done with their field.  No they can move on to replacing the pink track.

I heard from a reliable source that the Knights are going to go old school & the new track is going to be cinder.  ;D

Good!  And then maybe they can mark it off in good old fashion yards.  I liked track better before it went metric.

Happy 4th of July everyone.  :D

Oh my aching head...and now I get to go to work while my wife and kids enjoy their 5 day weekend!!!

Yesterday was a festive celebration of our nations independence.  Just like Sept 7th will be a festive celebration of the return of IIAC football...only 64 more days  :o
