CRUs 42pt 1st quarter matches the program record for most points scored by the CRU in a single quarter. Originally set on October 27, 2018 vs. Albright College. CRU scored 42 points in the 2nd quarter during a 91–7 blowout in Belton.

On that note I would have felt better about it had we let the 2s and 3s get game time reps running the full offense vs trying to get it over with. Those guys deserve the opportunity to get meaningful minutes executing the system vs making it garbage time to kill the clock.

All in all, felt like traditional CRU dominance over a weaker conference program. Tack on HSU's struggles against HPU (always tricky when the game is in Brownwood), I think this CRU team has a shot at the auto bid if they can TCB against ETBU this next week and win the turnover battle against HSU in two weeks.

I feel really bad for schreiner who had to add football and also get bought out by the ASC to get their a**es whupped by the purple powers.

Schreiner Fall 2021 - 1,103 total students, 251 First-Time Freshmen
Schreiner Fall 206 - 1,572 total student, 472 First-Time Freshmen

I assure you, they are just fine with how this all went.
