Top 5 best QBs in NO PARTICULAR order from 2024

Zac Boyes - Cortland State
Syverson - SJU
Luke Lehnen- NCC
Kaden Brown - ETBU
Simptimphelter - John Carroll
I wonder how he would have done with the supporting cast that Luke Lehren or Zac Boyes had.

Or if he had just had a few more passing attempts. He had 250 attempts compared to most of these others that had 300 and 400+. With the exception of Lehnen who seemingly threw a TD on every attempt  ;D

Etch might have already shared this, if he did my apologies but it was somewhat notable so I'll (re)share.

UMHB lands Jaden Lenore 6'3" 310 lb defensive tackle, originally class of 24. Seems to have either taken a year off or was injured. Was still "looking for a home" as of late December 2024.

Had D1 offers from UT Martin, Mississippi Valley State, Alabama A&M, Alcorn State. If he can get into shape could be a nice addition with the loss of Botts (Rice) and Cavness (Graduation).

I didn't, hopefully they won't get hurt or disappear after a game or two haha.

Or have a good season, get back up on his feet and then transfer out next year 🫤.

Honestly, I can't fault a kid for that one.  As much as I don't like it...

Still can't believe the schedule is not out yet.  Wonder if they will only have 8 games??

An 8 game schedule would be unacceptable. Between D3, NAIA, and even D2 potentially, there's no excuse not to find 4 non-conference games.

On that note, as much as I hate the double round robin format, I hope they keep it even after adding the new schools. That would eliminate the need to find non-conference opponents.

True, because they would have to find 5 non-con games otherwise.

One idea is to adopt the UMAC strategy where they play certain In-conference opponents twice to limit their OOC slate.

Crubacker

Possibly.  Don't like the idea so much, would like to see them playing different teams if possible.  Besides, if they have to travel, gives the athletes a chance to experience something like that.

I am now holding out hope again that the remaining memembers of the SCAC and the ASC can either do a scheduling agreement or like it used to be the the football playing members of the SCAC become affliate members of the ASC.

My renewed hope is based on the fact that if the SCAC doesn't want to do round robin either we all need a lot of games, lets all play 2-4 games against each other and lets put the Westgate Christian days behind us (since AC and Centenary are both playing them this year).

Saw a rumor on Twitter that UMHB will visit Mars Hill (D2) on September 27.

Very interesting. I've always been curious to see how UMHB stacks up against teams from higher divisions.

Does Mars Hill help defer travel cost for UMHB?
