Ric

Shark, Garcone is fine, game time decision.  Just a little banged up, if it were a playoff game he would have played.  No sense pushing it in a game like that.

thats exactly what i was going to say as well about Morring, I thot the same but being Mtfan figure someone would think it was some typical moaning about a call. There was no way he returns that ball nearly 102 yards for a TD and Morring is already in the endzone before the ball comes loose.  Won't take anything way from the 'etta player becuase it was a sweet run back but I don't think anyone on the field for Mount actually thought it was a live situation until he had broke around the end for the race!

mtfan

The officiating was terrible in many instances, and I know exactly what you mean Ric on the backwards pass that hit 10 feet in front of the receiver who's standing 3 yards behind the QB! I know 3 Mount players were after it before it bounded out of play but the Side judge had called it an incomplete pass, ....horrible might be an understatement.  BTW Ric, nice picking this week!!! 7 I beleive!  :o I think there's a pile up at the top now!

Great jobs by Mount's offensive and defensive lines.

hey, is Kenyon for real or what? Its very possible that they win out to take the NCAC title with no match up against Wabash. OWU looks like the last major roadblock for Kenyon's chances. I just thot you might ROFLMAO over this one!

I will give my quick response on the USC/ND tilt.  I thought it was over as well but upon reviewing the fumble, Leinart landed in the end zone without going out of bounds.  So I thought they were hurt by the fumble as well but the fact of the matter is had he not fumbled he would have been in with ten seconds left.  That said, he was equally as close to fumbling it into the end zone as well which would have sealed the deal for ND.  I watched the ending at the bar while we waited to eat dinner and had it recording at home only to find out that the recording stopped with five minutes left in the game.  Still a great game for the NCAA.

You and I both know you don't go out after, before or during games anyways.  You lock yourself in the basement with a twelve pack and hope your internet connection stays strong.   ;)

Looking at the stats for ONU so far, they have a very balanced scoring attack through 6 games.  16 TD's on the ground and 16 TD's through the air.

I think looking forward to the MUC game, Special Teams will play a very big role.  I know that the Bears kick return game will not fly under LK's radar.  Hostetler and Garcon are both incredible talents as return men.

The punt team for ONU is averaging 14.3 per return with 2 TD's and is giving up only 1.6 yards per return this season.  The longest punt return that the Bears have given up through 6 weeks is 3 yards.  I did a double-take on that one. myself.

Congrats to ONU for finally finding the endzone in the 4th quarter.  19 points in the 4th yesterday and those were their first 4th quarter points this year.

Reality "Frickers" Check -
No basements here in Louisiana...water table too high.  Had to convert the #4 bedroom into an office/exercise room.  And a 12-pack just gets me started on Saturdays!  Especially when the wife stays home and doesn't go shopping like she should (on Saturdays...during football season).
I actuallty left the house and went to "B-Dubs" at halftime of the MUC game.  Had birthday coupons to use!  (Otherwise I would have gone to Hooter's!)
Cheers!

Just a note for all of you, all of JCU's game broadcasts are available for download at WJCU.org in the media section...including that 70-0 drubbing if anyone is interested.

jdean

70-0??? JCU has a better basketball team than that.

The results for Week7 and the games for Week 8 have been posted in the OAC Pick-Em's thread.

Sorry for taking so long in getting them posted.

And for those of you living in a cave, IT'S MUC / ONU WEEK!!!  Yippie!

To paraphrase stoonk:

"See Pierre.  See Pierre run.  See Pierre catch.  Catch Pierre Catch and run.  Run Pierre Run.  Run run.  Score."

My only true wish is that one day I'll be able to understand your posts...and also figure out why it is that I'm included in every one.  Is there something you're not telling me about where you think this relationship is going?
