Wesley returns many of the same players who made it to the playoffs including their QB, so I would think they will  not have a down year. Also, I would not say that Cap is loaded this year, but do return a number of starters. Consensus is that they are a  Number 3 behind Mount Union and ONU as of pre-season.

The game between Cap and Wesley will be a good one, but based upon what we know at this time, Wesley may have a  slight edge!

I think CAP/Wesley has the potential to be a great game because it's in Bexley, Assman/D'Andrea/White all return as offensive leaders and because it's not the first game of the season.  If any of those individual factors were not present, I think this gets ugly for the Crusaders.  I think CAP is lucky this is a home game given some of the questions and the coaching transition.

Of course, the fact the game is not week one adds interest here.  CAP will be coming off road trips to Wilma and BW while Wesley will have three games under their belts; coming directly from a game against Delaware Valley.  The Wolverines could be beat up or battle-tested coming into Bexley.  Intriguing either way.

My right knee has been bothering me this spring.  After the X-rays and MRI showed nothing, the Dr. gave me Anti-inflammatory meds for a month.  That didn't help and then he gave me a cortisone shot and that took away a lot of the pain, but my knee keep clicking and catching and locking up in a bent position and was killing me to straighten it out.

Went in and got scoped yesterday and he found a "mento-sized" calcified growth that had been floating around in there.  Removed that and knee is sore but am already walking on it better this morning.

Did you sustain a knee injury at Mount or later? Hope you are doing better! :)

Didn't have any major knee issues playing HS or College football.  Dr. said it could have been in there for years and just got knocked loose or grew big enough to be annoying now.

The same thing happened to Saintsfan (aka Rock Stickler)

He got knocked around in college and has now grown big enough to be annoying.

Jamal Robertson had a 61 yard TD run for the BC Lions against the Edmonton Eskimos in the first half:

He finished with 11 carries for 168 (a CFL career high) and a score.  Good start and more importantly his team got a win.

I heard Wesley has most of their guys back from a pretty good team last year. But it is in Bexley. Not sure.

I have watched Wesley play for the past 3 seasons,,and I do not think they will be down this year.they return a good Qb and several skilled WR's.They lack a stud RB,,qb had many designed runs last season and he was effective. on Defense they return a large number,,their LB's impressed me as quick and good blitzers,,they lost a couple big d linemen  but played about 6 or 7 each game,,the weakness I saw was the players not able to handle changes as the game went on. They could not adjust vs a run series that Ohio Dominican showed them,,and had trouble adjusting to Cecil At Qb when he played them in the semi's,,but they were good enough to make the semi's ,,and should be good enough again this year,,depends on how they mature from last year,,,But what do I know about Cap  ,,not much
