Well, you know that MHB has to do that because they have to get a little extra $ to pay for that big new stadium they just built! ;D ;)

02,

Glad to see you on this board. Mount lost to Albion 33-34 in 1994 and Albion went on to win the
National title.

Mount lost that by missing 2 extra points!

Ah, 1994.   Remember it well.   My daughter was just born, I still had hair and it was the last time Mount didn't make it to at least the national semi-finals.

I played against their 1996 team.  We had about 16 sophomores starting and put it on us, 52-3.

I do NOT, however, remember HScoach ever having hair.

Big day for us. Going to the doctor to find out the sex of baby SaintsFAN. We're excited.

SaintsFAN:

Congratulations to you and the Mrs. on the upcoming expected eventual arrival of baby SaintsFAN!  Wonderful and wishing you both all the best for that.  Keep us posted. :)

Thank you.  Back from the appointment and I should already know, but the Mrs. wanted a reveal party tonight for our families.  I will admit it was hard sitting there knowing that the technician knew and couldn't tell us.  Its sealed in an envelope, which Mrs SaintsFAN won't let me near.

Any truth to the rumor that it's going to be a doggy?

You are welcome!  And...well, you know that is the woman's prerogative and we need to keep them happy (you don't want to get in the "dog house"!! ;D).  Anyway, the idea for the revealing party tonight sounds kind of fun.  I know what you mean about anticipation about not knowing right now, but just think of it like you did when we played in college i.e. the hour or so before the start of the game.  You know, after getting dressed, sitting in the locker room in the "quiet time" before going out to pre-game warm ups!  You are ready to go, anticipation and excitement mounting for...the big moment! ;)  Have fun tonight.

A very late reminder to get your picks in for the OAC Post-Season Pick-Em.

Newcomers are welcome since y'all start from scratch.

And I was able to goad coerce persuade HSCoach to joins us.  Come pit your picking skills.
Never underestimate the stimulation of eccentricity.

Congratulations on the upcoming blessed event!  Coincidentally, it was just tonight that we found out the sex of our upcoming first grandchild (due in April).  D-i-L gave us 'scratch-off' cards for blue or pink: it's gonna be a boy! :)  (First name still undecided, but middle name will be my late father's [and older brother's] middle name, Harlan.)

LOL - no. We are having a girl. Little Cora Grace already has her daddy wrapped around her finger. If she looks anything like her mom, I'm going to need some help fending off the boys!

Cold, wet, and windy here in South Texas but it's a beautiful day because it's a playoffs day!  Looking forward to having the game on the background while finishing up tomorrow's sermon.
