Ladies and gentlemen..... we have a semi- complete roster with names. Grades and height/weight aren't all correct.

Noticed Wyatt Stiehl (TE) is back.

116 incoming freshmen at MTU if my count is correct (Maloney is listed as a Fr so I didn't count him).

9 Kickers or K/P on the Roster.

5 Freshmen QBs (not including MM).
National Champions - 13: 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2012, 2015, 2017

Quote from: D3fanboy on August 26, 2025, 11:36:08 AMLou Berry looks to be coaching CB's for the Raiders, probably a good thing that JCU ran off to the NCAC.  Might be a bit traumatic to see Lou in Mount Union Stadium again

I'm so glad I saw that play in person, one of my favorite UMU football memories.

in a program with 13 national titles, 452 conference titles....that play is an all-timer

I am in so much better of a place with Mount 2025 today, than I was yesterday.  A lot, a lot of questions were answered.  It really will all come down to coaching, can Mount play with an edge?  At least we'll know early

What happened yesterday?

Excited to see Luke Starkey's name on the roster. From nearby South Range high school, he was the D5 Defensive POY in 2024. Absolute dog of a linebacker the couple times I saw him play. He will fit well.

D5 DPOY, 137 tackles, 37 TFL, 8 sacks, D5 state semifinalist last year, 3.9 GPA, 27 ACT.  Yeah that's definitely a kid you're pumped to add to your roster.

And earlier someone mentioned Carson Dyrlund.  That's a nice addition to the QB room.  He was a very good dual threat QB at Hoover.

Wyatt looks like he put on some weight.  Those multiple TE packages are going to have some beef

Glad they got someone from South Range... it seems like the rest of Mahoning County is really underrecruited,

I can't believe there's nobody on this team from good football schools like Cardinal Mooney, Ursuline, Canfield (recent state champs) Austintown Fitch

Mount Union and D3 football is so beneath those Valley "elites"  ;D

The MTU website still has two coaches listed who are no longer there (Pearce and Wright-Downing).

Anyone know who replaced them?

A quick search and all I see is that Marcus Jackson is now the OLB coach.

Blake Ewert was a running back at South Range a couple of years ago before going to BW.

Pearce was a DB coach and Wright-D was the DL coach. 🤣🤣🤣

Lou Berry is coaching CB's, Ely the Safeties.  Arshinkoff is back with the DL and pretty sure that Von Factor is back to assist with the DL

btw, good luck to the Raiders at W&J tonight.  Hopefully both teams get better with zero injuries

A) I think we should table the criticism and wait for the season to start.  We were in the Stagg Bowl last year, and had a solid chance to win the game.

B)  110 Incoming freshman in this day and age is amazing.  He must be doing something right to get that amount of players.

C)  I will be thoroughly let down if Mount is not in this years Canton Stagg Bowl.  Not by players or coaches, just in general.

D)  I skimmed through the roster and the QB and RB rooms are gonna be full.  Good to see Leibler on the list.  Also, looking forward to seeing what Jerry Copper Jr. can do this year.  I think he really started to turn it on last year at the end of the season

Any W.I.N is a B.F.D

At last, a voice of reason.
