Uninspired effort from the Purple Raiders.  Marietta played harder with the less athletic team.  MU's line provided good pass protection most of the time, but play calling didn't seem to capitalize on qb and wideouts skills.  Mount's secondary not elite, but 9-0 isn't bad.

I feel like when there were opportunities on offense today, the throw was off, dropped balls or missed blocks/reads... just not crisp at all. I feel like we need to get Maloney back on the move with RPO, but his runs today seemed predetermined.

Defense and special teams were also Jekyl and Hyde today. Like previously stated, we saw a much more prepared team weeks one and two of the season. Now it's not easy to win come playoff time, but there are many things that need cleaned up to win vs teams you'll face after round one....

In other news, I'm disappointed in BW...... it's too bad we couldn't see them play JCU in the playoffs....

I hold your sentiments on the matter.

I'm just going by the eye test, but it seems like the Mount offense has really lacked the precision that we saw in the first few weeks since they have really slowed things down in the past couple of weeks.  When the Raiders are playing with a little pace offensively, they seem to click much much better.  Lately, there has been a lot of standing around, getting the play call in at 15 sec or so on the play clock and snapping with under 5 sec.

and can we please throw that extreme delayed HB draw play in the garbage?
