Relax, it's just a playful comment

the PMS thing is a weird comment. I dont know you, but I never pictured you as a 13 year old boy.

I understand that Hope has a big game, maybe the biggest in Hope's illustrious history, this weekend.  But let's say that the stars align and Hope wins against UWL.  What would your spread be for Hope @ NCC?

Regarding the La Crosse QB situation. If starting QB Kyle Haas can't go, they may be down to #3. While a lot of healing can take place in two weeks, I am pretty sure Pat said on a recent podcast that their #2 guy was in street clothes. From what I've heard, they are a bit beat up and have been for awhile. Having said that, their back ups are big and talented and have now gained experience. This game won't be a cake walk for Hope by any means. If the Eagles get by Hope, I would think they will need Haas to even have a puncher's chance against NCC.

I do not know how any of the Wisconsin schools get through the season healthy. The relative size and talent in the league makes most weeks, from my perspective, a physical battle.  Most D3 teams may only see one or two teams that really beat them up physically, while the WIAC has five or six weeks to get seriously banged up. Mount has a couple key guys that have been missing for a couple weeks, but I hope to see them on the 29th. I think that Mount has a Stagg capable offense, but the D has shown some kinks that are worrisome.  We may have to rely on winning high scoring shootouts.

Most don't, to be honest. From what I heard, La Crosse lost 6 guys against Eau Claire. I'm not saying they were all season ending, but they weren't available the next week when they went to Platteville and lost by 17. When UW-W went to River Falls and our top corner went out with an ankle, that meant three of our top 4 corners were out at the time, including both projected starters. Not an amazing time to play UW-RF. It's truly a war of attrition. The physicality top to bottom in the conference is brutal tbh.

pretty good little "documentary" from Mount Union about the 1985 team

https://youtu.be/PC9VwlJTIik?si=Atrc8iV5KzZUuMs6

the 1985 Mount-BW game

https://youtu.be/t4t63d4fKQM?si=2XXVz99ptwBWNMzF

the grass field with all the mud, those great MUC helmets and enough students in the crowd to actually bring down a goal post.  Good stuff for a Raiders bye week.

I view the WIAC as basically a D2 conference, because in terms of both player quality and school size/ resources that's pretty much what they are.

I looked at Massey ratings across divisions and the WIAC would be solidly middle of the pack in all of D2 if you go by Median team rating.

The PSAC, probably the D2 conferences that Mount fans are most familiar with (Slippery Rock, Edinboro, IUP etc.) has a median rating of 4.21. The WIAC's median ranking is 4.42.

nothing too crazy about the bye week.

- practice schedule for the bye week and thanksgiving week

- a few guys practiced on Wednesday that haven't practiced "in a few weeks".  Trying to take care of everyone's bodies.... hopefully that means Liebler getting back out there and Shaun Thomas as well.  That 3 headed RB situation could really pound the ball in the playoff run

- praised the TE room, Stiehl having a bunch of TD's in the red zone

- accomplished the main goal, undefeated season and OAC champs, new season starting now

- focus on getting healthy, and getting better, cleaning up some things

- havent really watched any film on Union and Muhlenberg.  Experience with Muhlenberg in the past.  Muhlenberg plays in a strong conference

- do the players like the bye?  the players enjoy a week off to get bumps and bruises healed.  Doing the same thing as last year with the bye

- talking about the guys filming on top of the scoreboard during the rough playoff winters in Alliance.  The extra camera view is beneficial to Mount with the tablets on the sidelines

I took that to mean Thomas and Liebler were practicing as well.

Lets hope.  Jaeson Anderson has played fantastic in the past few weeks and looks like a future all-conference+ type player as a freshman at CB.  But Liebler is the best field corner on Mount (probably in the OAC as well), getting him back will help settle down the secondary a bit.  The secondary calls were a bit different with Liebler out.

Thomas is the "power back" with Williams being the speed/HR hitter and Minner being the middle guy.  Having all three available is going to be a big plus

Could not agree more. I had the pleasure of sitting near Jaeson's family last week and he filled the role quite well. That all being said, it'll be good to hopefully get Zack and Shawn on the field.
