Kevin Burke is the RB coach for UC Davis and they are taking on Illinois State on Saturday at 5 pm EST.

KB sounds a lot more like some Kehres disciples than others

re-posting from back in December.  UC-Davis has been a top 10-ish offense for the past few years and has a rising offensive mind at HC (Tim Plough) for the past couple of years.  So stoked to have KB back in Alliance.  I'm growing my moustache out as we speak

If we could have hand picked who we wanted to be the OC and the DC this would have been the picks.  Incredible job by Dartt to crush these hires.  New voices, championship DNA and guys who bleed purple.  I'm just thinking about Burke coaching a kid with very similar skills to himself and the great perspective he's going to be able to bring to Maloney's development.

hopefully Burke brings in some of the Boise (Dan Hawkins) and Davis (Plough) with his LK background and Mount offense gets back to where they once were.

I've never seen a QB at any level run the zone-read / RPO better than KB

haven't seen many better leaders than KB, going back to high school.  Dude is magnetic and a leader of men.  Mount Union is a lot better off today than they were yesterday.  Mikey Maloney is going to go nuts this year

I echo your thoughts.... And Dartt also deserves credit for not having an ego and going after these guys.

the Mount Union roster has been updated with the new coordinators...and some other changes

one that stood out; Jaeson Anderson now is listed as a WR, despite him being a starting CB in the JCU game.  Big time athlete.  I thought he would have been a starting CB opposite Liebler in '26, but apparently there is something (someone?) else planned by the coaching staff

I'm not sure that the player roster is updated, but the coaching biographies are. Jaeson was listed as a WR all year on the roster.
