Tbh I dont want Mount to get into the playoffs. It will be another 1st round loss. BW is the front runner - but I would rather see no OAC team get in than have it be BW. Maybe that is wrong of me - so be it. Need to find a way for BW to lose 2 and Berg get in.
They have to lose 2 of the next 3 so we need Mount and either the formidable (cough cough) Muskies, or the dangerous (hack cough) Quakers to come through.

So you say there's a chance?

Quote from: BergAlum2 on October 24, 2026, 04:07:24 PMWell ONU won't be giving Mount a second loss for the Berg, odd game ONU was averaging over 200 yds passing a game, only 45 today,

Etta's on deck to beat the Berg
Good luck the rest of the way.

We have a few days to create an offense that can take advantage of the field position the D and special teams create.  I'd like to think I am cautiously optimistic, buuuut... I'm not.

Quote from: Desertraider on October 22, 2026, 03:46:22 PMOnly way Mount gets in is by winning out, and Berg losing to Etta or ONU. Auto Qualifier is the only way.

the 3 way tie still very much likely favors Mount, imo.  The conference coaches voting against putting 3 teams into the playoffs and a 4th into a bowl game just to spite the big dog would be hard to believe.  Even an 8-2 Mount Union has a punchers chance at a Pool C bid.  Winning out is the key for sure.
Mount Union "winning out" is a "must," but being dominant in those wins is paramount.
70-27 against Wilma was not "dominant" in my humble/ignorant opinion ... especially trailing early in the second quarter (yeah ... I know ... only 10-7 ... when did that ever happen?).
45-7 at ONU and 35-14 against the "Flaming Pile" ... as a minimum ... is required. Should that play out. Otterbein will take care of itself ... 52-0.
After that, it is out of the team's control.
