Tbh I dont want Mount to get into the playoffs. It will be another 1st round loss. BW is the front runner - but I would rather see no OAC team get in than have it be BW. Maybe that is wrong of me - so be it. Need to find a way for BW to lose 2 and Berg get in.
They have to lose 2 of the next 3 so we need Mount and either the formidable (cough cough) Muskies, or the dangerous (hack cough) Quakers to come through.

So you say there's a chance?

Etta's on deck to beat the Berg
Good luck the rest of the way.

We have a few days to create an offense that can take advantage of the field position the D and special teams create.  I'd like to think I am cautiously optimistic, buuuut... I'm not.

the 3 way tie still very much likely favors Mount, imo.  The conference coaches voting against putting 3 teams into the playoffs and a 4th into a bowl game just to spite the big dog would be hard to believe.  Even an 8-2 Mount Union has a punchers chance at a Pool C bid.  Winning out is the key for sure.
Mount Union "winning out" is a "must," but being dominant in those wins is paramount.
70-27 against Wilma was not "dominant" in my humble/ignorant opinion ... especially trailing early in the second quarter (yeah ... I know ... only 10-7 ... when did that ever happen?).
45-7 at ONU and 35-14 against the "Flaming Pile" ... as a minimum ... is required. Should that play out. Otterbein will take care of itself ... 52-0.
After that, it is out of the team's control.

oh I think that you are going to see an extremely conservative Mount against ONU.  I don't know that a Dartt led team is capable of coming out of the gates hot and jumping on a team in the first quarter/half and then giving the starters a bit of a break in the 2nd half.  A large crowd and "night" game vs BW should get the juices flowing despite Eeyore with a gum addiction's best efforts.

If Mount beats ONU and BW, they are a playoff team...unless the bottom 2/3 of the OAC conspire to keep the Raiders out of the playoffs and the 4th place conference team from playing in a postseason bowl game.  Doesn't seem likely, imo.

let's just say its:
4. Etta
5. ONU
6. Cap
7. Wilma
8. Ott
9. Muskie

Etta is voting for Mount 100% to get the bowl game.  Five coaches left to vote, is there enough of a vendetta against Mount for kicking FG on 1st down in the 4th for years and years to go against the recruiting chip of "nearly half of the conference in the postseason!"  or "we're only one game away from playing in the postseason!"?

One thing I could not understand, was like in the last minute of the half, ya'll had some great success throwing it and got down the field to score that field goal, then after halftime it was back to just mainly running the ball.  We did hurt your QB sadly in the second half and took him out of the game, hope he can play next week

The way the math is trending, 8-2 Mount Union is extremely likely to go through with or without the automatic bid which is going to make a secret vote virtually meaningless.  Honestly the best thing that could happen for this silly tiebreak.
