Mahoney to Harris continues to be something else today.  TD #3 for that duo.  55-7 Raiders late in the 3rd.  Probably can sit the starters for the remainder.

in other scores that might be of interest

Depauw 28-7 over JCU late in the 4th (hate to see it).  I'm guessing Brian Polian won't be on WKYC this weekend?

Centre defeats #19 Berry 28-14 (2nd loss for Berry)

2 loss Bethel tied up at 14 with Concordia Moorhead at half

Wheaton tied at 13 with Augustana at half

2 loss UWRF down big at half to UW-Stout

looking like an OAC title game in Alliance next weekend.  Heidelberg is Heidelberging, Etta with a pick 6 to extend their lead to 24-7 with 11 minutes left

BergAlum2

Frustrating game in Tiffin,  First half we kept chucking it deep with no success, besides the Marietta team catching it

"The Mount", lead by "Mikey Mahoney" unknown relationship to Bowery Boy Slip Mahoney, over The Polar Bears
58-14 on "senior day" this "Halloween" afternoon at "Bill Robinson field" at
"Dial-Roberson Stadium".
Anything I missed that the announcer said over, and over, and over again?

it was always win and the Raiders are in.  Now it'll just be for another outright OAC title instead of a share.  Marietta beating Berg probably bumps up Mount's NPI a skosh as well. Grove City vs W&J tonight is another big one for the Raiders' NPI as well

I forgot about that one.
I am making that 2+ hour drive to get mine tomorrow for sure.

Just win and you're in! Sounds like some positive aspects on special teams (blocked punt, fumble recovery on ST, made field goal), defense stepping up and offense finding their footing (Harris sounds like our deep threat with good hands). Here's to a good week of preparation and beating BW!

the first FG "attempt" was an absolute clown show.  Running the FG team on late and then trying to get them off the field...time out.  Running into the kicker penalty gave the Raiders new life, and then an offside on ONU made the 4th down even shorter.  Mount picked up the 4th and 5 and scored a play or so later.

Other than that sequence and the long ONU TD run, it was a pretty clean game for the Purple Raiders.  Best they've played collectively all season imo.

I cant believe I am going to the OSU/Oregon game - I am a Michigan fan for Christ's sake - and missing this Mount-BW game!

Wow. BWC defense will not be able to handle Mount Union's fast-paced offense, now that the young receivers are playing with swagger and confidence. M.M., Number 15, is hot and in tune with his young receivers. RB and OL are looking good. Execution good. We also have to consider that BWC is cursed by god when they play the Purples.

I didn't get to watch the entire game, but I thought they looked as cohesive as they have all season.  Most importantly, Maloney is full go on the RPO and QB designed runs and that totally changes their offense when he's a legit threat to pull it and run.  He looked good again this week.

I've been as much doom and gloom as anyone this season (and I reserve the right to be again Saturday pending result!) but with literally none of their skill guys graduating this offense could be scary going forward the rest of this year and next.

Finally, totally unrelated but I need to complain...the fact that we're 5 days from hoops starting and we still don't have a roster posted is ridiculous.
