I assume, as they should be, that BW is favorited by a TD on Saturday. But there is just something so sweet about the opportunity for the "worst" Mount Union team in 35+ years to ruin BW's dream perfect season in Alliance.

The gum gonna get so chewed this week.

other than winning the OAC, a Raiders victory more than likely keeps JCU out of the playoffs...which we all agree would just be terrible

Etta's on deck to beat the Berg
Good luck the rest of the way.

We have a few days to create an offense that can take advantage of the field position the D and special teams create.  I'd like to think I am cautiously optimistic, buuuut... I'm not.

One thing I could not understand, was like in the last minute of the half, ya'll had some great success throwing it and got down the field to score that field goal, then after halftime it was back to just mainly running the ball.  We did hurt your QB sadly in the second half and took him out of the game, hope he can play next week
We've had some success in 2-minute situations, but overall, the offense is clunky, deliberate, an predictable.

Mount gave us a good, swift kick in the head on Saturday because the offense was pedestrian and our defense was undisciplined and out-gunned.

Let's GO RAIDERS!!  The stage is set.  Berg bowed out.  We beat BW under the lights on Saturday and the OAC crown is ours.  I like our chances.  Gotta let the yellow jackets know they're in for a fight with LOTS of raucous cheering for our team.

Guy that used to post on the old Mount site (Rick's site) YEARS AGO- used to say the Mount stands were filled with 'Harriet and ? Having tea' or something along those lines. It was Dick Ross and I used to love his post game write-ups.

I'll never understand why the Mount administration doesn't lean into the #1 driver of enrollment.  Print up 200 black t-shirts with the dumb new Raiders logo on the front and a pizza place on the back.  A free t-shirt and pizza for the student section, college kids will do anything for a t-shirt and/or pizza....or at least they used to.  How much could that possibly cost?

They have that sweet bell on 3rd down, but do something...anything to build a home field presence.  Its like playing in a library these days

I'm glad to see an old school blow out of a mediocre team.  It seems that some things are starting to come together with this young team.  I was looking at the box score from last years game, and 6 players had catches in the game last year.  Only Mason Ashby is back (he had 1 reception).  I usually don't pay attention to things like that, but given this years situation, it was like a bright light when I saw it.  Same on defense.  Kaleb Brown had a sack 2 TFL's and 4 QB hurries last year.  That's a lot of production to replace.

Anyways...

If the Raiders continue to play as they have been in the 3 and continue to get better bit by bit.  The should win this game.  These teams are nearly identical in major statistical categories (except BW's came against Bethany and Alma).  This game will come down to execution, composure and fight.  Limit the stupid penalties, no dropped passes, and don't give up.  Every play counts.  Every player counts.

we've all heard about the "young team" over and over.  that BS should be over by now in week nine or whatever.  it's going to be a charged environment in Alliance on Saturday, and the D3 refs will for sure know that as well.  Make the plays and leave the dancing alone. I'd bet my mortgage on 1.5 taunting/personal foul calls in the 1st half.

I want to see the Raiders come out firing, but gotta stay above that stuff.  BW will 100% be "chippy"
