Ok, that was a much more dominating performance than I had anticipated.

27 to 9 on first downs and 445 to 164 in total offense.

Filips, with 356 passing yards and four TDs is definitely BACK!!!

I was impressed with our pass rush and pass coverage.

Beltran is definitely an asset at receiver with over 12 yds per catch and a TD reception.

And now we get TWO WEEKS to prepare for Shenandoah.

Could be interesting!

SFU fan here.  I'll try and post a little this year.  It has been rough so far and I can't imagine we win any games this season with a dozen returners.  Going forward I think they will be fine as coach V is a great coach but that might be a few season from now.  The university has some pretty serious financial issues and it appears they are making some massive cuts so don't expect SFU to raise the PAC's profile.  They even changed the mascot but don't have the money to change the signage so I am told we will be Red Wolves/Flash for a while longer LOL.  Let me know if anyone has any questions and I can give you the scoop and my opinions.

The stats you cited show that the game was not a close as the score.

Rochester's first two TDs were via a KOR and blocked punt. Wolf also muffed a punt that rolled 25 yards behind him to the 2. Other than Petrozzi's 47-yard FG and 5/5 PATs, special teams were not as "stout" as you suggested.

My intuition about TE/H-B Renshaw was faulty. He and Maisenbacher split time at TE. The big guy Meschede lined up primarily at H-B, but also FB and TE. He was, I would guess, in about half of the snaps.

Beltran also scored a 6-yard rushing TD from the double-wing-short-yardage formation. On that play Renshaw was lined up behind Filips, who was under center.

Welcome to the board!  I'm sure that there will be a few years of adjustment, but PA is too rich in HS football talent and tradition for you guys to stay down for long.

Looking forward to our inaugural matchup.

Welcome to the PAC

Do you know if practice began this week? As I understand the rule they could have begun on the 3rd.

Sounds like they're headed to Division 4 football.
