Well, obviously it's going to take some time for SFU to build a program.  Good to see CWRU win on their 200th anniversary homecoming.
CWRU Grad, Class of 1994, big D3 sports fan of that school.  Also a fan of Yeshiva U at the D3 level.  Fan of Houston and Illinois at the D1-FBS level.

Given that building a D3 program is entirely different from building a D1 program, this isn't a "rebuild."  It's a brand new build.

Yes, recruiting a whole new roster, but not having to do all of the background/logistical stuff you need to do when starting a program from scratch.

If it's all right with BleedPurple, let me point out that SFU's pass rush was a bright spot. Especially when it was reported that D played 8 FY. Olsen was 11-19, that's 23 attempts if you add in the 4 sacks they had. They forced an intentional grounding and had on official QBH. Not officially in the stats, they also forced several throwaways.

I also like how the Red Flash is in embedded in the Red Wolf logo.

Jake Kavcic had a busy Saturday.
"Kavcic blocked a punt on the opening drive to set up the first CWRU touchdown of the game two plays later[scored by his twin bother Andy, who scored 3more on the day]. He added a safety later in the game, tackling the Saint Francis punter in the end zone with 9:34 left in the third to increase CWRU's lead to 29-3.

Kavcic was also active in the return game, bringing back two kicks for an average of 39.0 yards per return (with a season-long 54-yard return) and three punts for an average of 13.3 yards (with a long of 15).

Defensively, the strong safety had five tackles (one solo), including one for loss, and intercepted his first pass of the campaign. Kavcic leads the team this season with 32 tackles (27 solo) and seven pass breakups, with three tackles for loss, two sacks, one interception, and a forced fumble, while averaging 23.8 yards per kick return and 13.6 yards per punt return."
