NCC leads Lake Forest at the half, 33-20. Twyman leads the Cards with ten points. I figured that he'd be LFC's biggest problem; the Foresters don't have a wing who can match up with Twyman's size, quickness, and ability to drive to the basket.

Fontbonne @ Elmhurst is just getting underway. EC is up 6-0 two and a half minutes into the game.

The Foresters have started off the second half on a 7-0 run. It's 33-27, NCC, three minutes in.

Kyle Julius has not appeared in tonight's game. What's his story?

Brandon Stanciel just fouled out, which means that North Central is going to have even more trouble handling big Travis Clark in the low post. It's 52-44, Cards lead, with seven minutes to go.

Elmhurst leads Fontbonne, 48-35, with half a minute to go in the first stanza.

Halftime at Faganel Hall:

Elmhurst 48
Fontbonne 35

The 'jays are led by Dustin Bainter and Mike McCurdy, who have a dozen points apiece. Josh Branch leads the St. Louisans with 14.

Elmhurst is shooting a torrid 61% from the field while holding Fontbonne to 44%. The 'jays also lead the rebounding battle, 16-13, always a great sign for the undersized boys in baby blue.

It's 56-49, NCC, with four minutes to go up on the North Shore. Both teams are having some trouble putting the ball in the basket, but the Cards have maintained a 7-to-12-point lead throughout almost the entire second half.

...and now it's 60-51, North Central, with two and a half minutes to go.
