DT Dallas McRae, D3football's defensive player of the year and CB Spencer Rowland were named 1st team D3 AP All-Americans.  https://athletics.wheaton.edu/news/2019/12/19/football-dallas-mcrae-and-spencer-rowland-earn-division-iii-all-america-recognition-from-the-associated-press.aspx?fbclid=IwAR25-COo031ve8uPK3v6918sYDW3GtZX6B4FGeqFab3CwY1SgHdKHitFiV0

Both seniors have another year of eligibility left and are planning on coming back next year.  So are the other 6 seniors that had another year of eligibility.  The Thunder are loaded for next year.

Congrats to the 5 D3 AP All Americans from NCC! Beesley, Clarke, Kamienski, Greenfield, and Rutter. Of those 5, only Rutter is a Sr. Returning a heck of a lot of talent!

(This post has nothing to do with the Wheaton post directly above it)

With WI and IL ties, regardless of the outcome, I feel as though my team has already won.

Well, good. Then hopefully you can dispense with the chicken little hand-wringing on the in-game board. You know, since it feels like your team has already won. Or better yet, go on the CCIW in-game board and nit pick the Cardinals!

Ouch. Is there not room enough in my heart for two? I say yes, yes there is.

I forget how big your heart is sometimes. I'm not sure why that it...

Good luck to North Central.  Represent our CCIW strong.

STAGG BOWL DAY

Good luck and best wishes to both teams.

Hope is for a well officiated game, injury free, and played to the best by both teams.

Wishing for good weather and a great game. May the better team win.

I am looking forward to this game.  I think it will be like the SJU/UWW game.  The lines will determine the winner.  I am picking NCC 31- 30, but won't be surprised if UWW wins by the same score.  Good luck NCC, And One, enjoy the game.

Excellent post, MUC57!  I ditto your comments.

Sportbet.com has this game NCC minus 14 1/2, minus 650 on the money line and O/U 69. I'm sure y'all have confidence in the Cardinals, but doesn't that seem a little -- a lot -- out of whack???

Or they know something. Those betting firms aren't in the habit of losing money.

No they're not, but they do put out bad lines once in a while. And they have no base research on d3 results this season because they've offered no action on d3. I think it's just an uninformed line for a game they don't think will draw much action, so why waste a lot of time researching it?

That could very well be the case.  If so, why bother putting out a line at all?

To generate action. Some action is better than none. They'll get action from me that otherwise wouldn't have been bet at all. Of course, a bad line will end up costing them money, but they don't know its a bad line yet.

I took UWW plus 10.5 on fanduel.  seems way too high to me.
