JCA running away with the 6A Championship 35-0. Only one competitive game so far.  The 5A contest had Metemora defeat Morris 17-14 with a 27 yd field goal with 31 seconds remaining.

A great season for NCC.  Hard to win with 5 turnovers against a team like UWW.

This game sure took a quick turn for the worst for NCC. Going into the 4th qtr NCC had the Warhalks on their heels and looked like they would pull off a shocker. In the blink of an eye UWW made the score look lop-sided. I don't think UWW had any sustained scoring drives all day. They scored on big Beaver runs, a long TD pass and 2 interceptions returned for scores. To many mistakes by NCC to beat a quality opponent like UWW.

Congrats to UWW as they head to the North Region Championship game.
Congrats to NCC, Coach Thorn and his staff for a great season.

congrats to UWW for a win over NCC and congratulations to NCC for a good representation in the playoffs.

Don't let the few classless morons from the wiac board taint your view of Whitewater nation. They are a 1st rate team and most of the fans are knowledgeable and friendly.

Unfortunately for the rest of the CCIW the main thing this season did was give a young NCC team a lot of post season experience that will make them tough to beat next year. 2008 season previews can comence

Cardinal fans - that's a good team you have there.  Congrats on your season.  That was anybody's game today in the 2nd half.

Very impressed with Fanthorpe.  He really got on a roll in the middle part of the game.  His receivers let him down a couple of times, but his passing and running both were pretty effective.  Only a soph, right?  Your next couple of years look promising.
