I hope that the Red Devils coaches kept the players away from the Ballet.

I was obviously disappointed that Feehan isn't around anymore, but I'm liking what I'm seeing with Bennington's production this far. Excited for another SLIAC season and D3 basketball in general...and of course he WIAC. Because you guys care, I have Bennington, Hank Thomas, Micah Paulson and Goodman in various fantasy leagues...

Iowa Wesleyan loses exhibition to Western Illinois 108-64....  stat of the night is IWU Guard Jake Neubauer goes 5 for 5 from 3's in the lopsided loss, 17 points...

Eureka loses in exhibition to Eastern Illinois, 79-44... Dakota Bennington goes for 17....

Shea Feehan, Eureka graduate playing his grad school year at Evansville, gets his first shot at the big time when the Purple Aces take on New Mexico Highlands, a D2 school, at 1:00 today, Saturday Nov 3..... I don't see any indication that this is going to be webcast, but there are live stats thru the Evansville site.... very anxious to see how Shea can perform at this level... the leading returning 3 point shooter for Evansville only averaged 1 made 3 pointer per game last year, so Feehan should at least get a chance to show what he can do...If Shea does get real time this season, I'll write it up here now and then... I'm sure other SLIAC and fantasy fans are curious like me....(and hopeful that the SLIAC's best can play up when this rare opportunity appears)..

Interesting... Shea Feehan starts for Evansville... the box indicates they started 3 guards... plays 32 minutes....has a so-so game... 2 for 7 from the field, 2 for 5 from 3's, 2 for 2 from the line...5 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 turnovers...Evansville beats New Mexico Highlands 83-61

Certainly reason for hope and optimism!!!   I'm am as excited as can be for Feehan....So cool to see a D3 guy, from a bottom 3rd D3 conference, get a chance and do something with it.....

Mac gets thumped at Illinois College in first half, comes back to win 2nd half by 3.... Coach Creal pleased with offense, defense needs a lot of work... Wade Fox leads Mac wit 15 points, 9 rebounds

Interesting... regular season opens with Webster playing Illinois College.. will be a very good early season measure....

Evansville loses their TOP three scorers, so maybe Feehan earned his starting spot. It's not like he's a freshman. Hope he does well throughout the season.

Evansville loses their two three scorers, so maybe Feehan earned his starting spot. It's not like he's a freshman. Hope he does well throughout the season.

I went to the MWC board to see if I could get some insights into what Illinois College might be like this season, but all the talk there since April has been about food.
