Looks like my prediction is going great....J. Branch is looking like POTY

hopefan

I know how I feel about that comment Love of the Game, but I'll leave any reply to FC...... if he agrees with you, then you must be right..... but somehow.... well, I'd be interested to see.....

I share EC's enthusiasm for the Eureka Greenville matchup...  both teams athletic, niether has a BIG man, but guys that can jump and play hard around the basket....   EC, hope you'll give us all the details, win or lose  -  if this was a Saturday game, I might have hit the road.... great basketball, and some fun spots nearby.....

LOTG - We don't hear a word when Josh scores 16 and FU beats GC. But, Josh scores 32 in a bad loss and you reappear. ??????????????? FU's success is second to the number of points scored? NBA mentality.

Josh played a hard fought game. But, missed some crucial FT's (2-6) and late shots. In the past, most POTY's come from winning teams. No complaints at all on his effort Saturday. But, POTY on Saturday was Mcafee. Sorry it's just my opinion, your a Josh fan not a FU fan.

I still would think, Josh would trade the chance to be the first SLIAC player to go to four NCAA Tourneys, in exchange for a $25 award.

I would consider your post with more interest if you mentioned his 5 assists.

I think 'Love for the Game' should change his name to 'Love for Josh'

News on the WC side may be slow for the next couple weeks as they dont have a game until Dec. 21st.

That was a good one FrostBite, maybe I should. I am just trying to bring out the good thing about that game because it was a terrible game. FU should have never lost that game and they did in the 2nd half. The only thing I saw in the stats were J. Branch and making his case of POTY. The onlything FCNEWS talks about is how FU is and I think for the most part everyone knows they have problems but one thing you cant say bad about is the play of J. Branch. No one is helping him, Forrest has really seen what its like not playing with the seniors last year. He needs to pick it up but I do think he will. If he has a couple of good games then HES BACK! ;D

LOTG - Just keep posting when your man scores 30 pts in a loss. We don't need to mention the good games he has and his team wins, but only scores 16.

If you check the stat line on Mcafee, it shows a "W" behind his teams name.

And, no FU should not of loss that one. But, POTY's don't go 2-6 from the line and don't miss their final 5 attempts. POTY's put their teams on their backs and get the win.

This is not a slap at Josh. 12-24 is not a bad nite at all. But, is he making the players around him look better. And, Defense is still part of the game. If you want to pump the guy up, that's fine. But, your reasoning is onesided and has no bearing on the teams success. And this is coming from a Josh Branch Fan.

Fontbonne may make it to Elmhurst, but getting home may be a different story. Sean Gibson is getting his physical as we speak. Tomorrow he can join his team. Not a moment to soon. FU needs the big guy inside.

FC   go  slow  -  I heard the big guy hasn't played in quite a while and could have a rough time doing much running - don't expect miracles - hopefully minutes in spurts will help the rebounding situation.

Congrats to EC!  We will see them and GC in the top 4.  The game between them will be exciting!  Westminster...I would like to see them play this year before I comment.  I did get a chance to see FU and Spadling....  Zollaner good showing?  Does he play any defense or know the plays?  He seemed lost.  Forrest - he'll get it - he is playing a different game this year - I expect good thing from him.  Sheetz  good player needs a buddy to help and he'll look great oh and fouls...he needs to be smarter.   Rapp he will be playing above expectations!  Lisch like him   Branch he'll be fine - good shooter but sometimes they just don't go in and you have to pass the ball.  POY?? still too early so many player yet to see.
Spalding can hit those 3's and knew FU weakness.

I of course going to back up my prediction, and for those wins FU has, thank J. Branch. Look at  the numbers he put up. FCNEWS I hope no one else from FU is waiting like you are for this plaer Sean Gibson :o He came from Forest Park  :D :D Not going to fix the problem, may not play that much because who min. is he taking? I know its not Frank S. or Nolan Z., and the freshman stars that you were talking about Ronnie R. and Eric H. (which have not done anything and I predict WONT do anything) Really not a good recruiting job by old coach Mck.

To DISTANTOBSERVER, Yes I agree and already made that statement of Nolan Z, (he is always lost and doesnt seem like he ever play basketball) where did he play again? Might want to check that. Im sure FU will lose tonight but my POTY prediction will do his best and have a good night for himself but will keep his team in it as much as ONE player can. Not ONe player can win a GAME But ONe player can lose a game from a team and HE is the REASON FU has any chance of doing ANYTHING..........And I am a Fan of the young man, and you can really tell YOUR NOT. Why is that?

fcnews

LOTG - They didn't teach reading at Harvard? My previous post stated I was a Fan of Josh's. Gibson was all conference, from the same conference as Forrest, Webster's Moore and Strickland. And, FP's own Rashad May, who is starting at McKendree. I'd say the conference has produced some bonafide players. At 6'7 and avg. like 13 pts and almost 10 rebounds, it's exactly what FU needs right now.

LOTG - I disagree with ONE player CAN lose the game - it takes the same team no matter what and always a TEAM wins the game.

Is anyone going to the GC and EC game?  I think it will be a GC win but very close.  Zasada vs Ellis that will be fun to watch.

Any word on the FU game?
