The length they are out varies.  Coach Dernbach only said that they would all be back by conference season.

Was there a radio show I missed? I don't remember an email.

These types of injuries take time. Point is now off the board at Draft Kings.  ;D

Wow impressive first half for Platteville at Wisconsin. Led the Badgers after the first three media timeouts. Balanced scoring and all the returning Pioneers with impressive play. Badgers didn't lead until 5:28 to go in the half. Badgers late run and lead 31-22. Platteville with a chance at some of the 2018 Oshkosh records.

Platteville got within 45-47, but then Badgers went on a big run. 53-69 the final. Second fewest points for the Badgers in this game and tied second closest margin. Love 13 points and Lewis 12.

Pioneers are going to be really good.

Went to the game thinking this will be a great experience for the Pioneers. The game where two brothers faced off for a very good cause. The Pioneers came to play. A late first half run gave the Badgers a 9 point lead. Platteville came out in the 2nd have to cut the lead to 2 points 47-45 at about the 7 minute mark. The Badgers then went on a 12-0 run to take control. Platteville opens their regular season on November 9 against Nebraska Wesleyan.

Does Gard vs. Gard create any unique attributes for this game?  Does Mom Gard have to pay for her ticket or does Isaac get a comp one for her?

Quote from: tomt4525 on October 28, 2025, 11:46:54 AMThe Pointers have a case of the injury bug to start their season.  Cal Krohn, Seth Miron and Isaiah Moore all are out for an unspecified amount of time with different injuries.  They are all expected back by the start of the conference season.  Those are some big shoes to fill while they are out and giving some young guys, as well as Josh Bocher, some extra reps.

Miron played in the Purple/Gold Game so it looks like he's already healed.  Moore and Krohn sat out though so still waiting on them.  Pointers are thin in the frontcourt so not having Krohn is a huge loss for any amount of time.

High expectations for La Crosse to win the league. Grieger, Derousseau, and Paider going to have deliver and lead down low with some unproven guards.

And equally high expectations for Stevens Point to finish third.

Greek Tragedy

Considering what Platteville lost, that's some high expectations as well, in my opinion.

Whitewater's roster is posted.  No Tyshawn Teague-Johnson sighting, I wonder if he's hurt for the year or something.  He still lists Whitewater basketball in his bio on social media.

He has to sit out the first 8 games. The WIAC continues to enforce their transfer rule despite the portal.

Despite that, why can't he listed on the roster?

He's not on the team until second semester.
