WIACer

I'm pretty sure the WIAC stopped the 2 year transfer sit out in the WIAC. Maybe he left ineligible.

Whitewater's roster is posted.  No Tyshawn Teague-Johnson sighting, I wonder if he's hurt for the year or something.  He still lists Whitewater basketball in his bio on social media.

He has to sit out the first 8 games. The WIAC continues to enforce their transfer rule despite the portal.

Where do I send the $100 entry fee?  Can my finance manager Chauncey send it Venmo?

Seeing Eau Claire's roster awhile back I noticed that Brock Massey wasn't on it.  I think Massey was their biggest recruiting win last year out of the freshman, had D2 offers.  Anyways, I see he has matriculated over to Loras.

Quote from: tomt4525 on October 28, 2025, 11:46:54 AMThe Pointers have a case of the injury bug to start their season.  Cal Krohn, Seth Miron and Isaiah Moore all are out for an unspecified amount of time with different injuries.  They are all expected back by the start of the conference season.  Those are some big shoes to fill while they are out and giving some young guys, as well as Josh Bocher, some extra reps.

Miron played in the Purple/Gold Game so it looks like he's already healed.  Moore and Krohn sat out though so still waiting on them.  Pointers are thin in the frontcourt so not having Krohn is a huge loss for any amount of time.

It was determined that Bobby Grganton was seen on crutches in a recent team photo. Did he play in the purple/gold game?

Point's roster is up.

Point has 20 players listed. 10 returners and 10 new players(8 freshmen, 2 transfers?).

They lost 3 from graduation, Abdul-Wahid, Hutchinson and Bolden. 5 did not return. Teague-Johnson to Whitewater (2nd semester). The other four are Blake Kortz, Will Gardner, Ethan Hoelzel and Peytan Clarey.

Excited for the season to kick off (when are we not?). Point heads to Milwaukee to take on MSOE on Saturday. I plan on making the hour trip south on I-43. They are picked 2nd in the NACC and actually got the most 1st place votes. Point beat them handidly last year at Quandt, but did lose to MSOE in 23-24 and 22-23, so hardly a cakewalk.

Point was up 27-15 around the 8 minute mark and within 6 minutes, they found themselves down 33-31 thanks to one of Point's patented cold spells.

Someone beside Krohn and Butler need to score.
