Quote from: Greek Tragedy on February 21, 2026, 11:55:35 PMI think Whitewater, Point and La Crosse all but secured bids, obviously barring a ton of bid thieves. I think Oshkosh will need two wins, but Platteville should be pretty safe with a 1st round win.

Platteville is in a better position than Oshkosh, obviously, but whoever loses that first round game needs to have their fingers crossed!

Going into last night's games:

WW 16th AQ between At-large 4/5
SP 19th, At-large 7
LX 20th, At-large 8
PL 28th, At-large 12
Osh 30th, At-large 14

This morning's NPI
https://d3datacast.com/npi/

Platteville 74 Stout 47
Whitewater 69 River Falls 62
La Crosse 101 Eau Claire 79
Stevens Point 71 Oshkosh 67

Despite the win, Whitewater actually drops to 21st and keeps the AQ between At-large 7 & 8

Point with their strong road win jumps to 15th and At-large 5.

La Crosse rises to 17th and At-large 6.

Platteville falls one spot to 29th and At-large 13 because of their weak home win.

Oshkosh drops to 33rd and At-large 17.

Platteville should be safe with a win. Oshkosh definitely needs the win and probably 2.

BW, congrats on UWW winning the title outright.  They earned by getting the job done on the road while others didn't.  It was a wild regular season, we'll see if that holds in the conference tourney.

Is the conference tourney on the WIAC Network?  I can't find it.

All postseason play is now pay per view, including conference tourneys, which I believe is broadcast on ESPN+.

Looks like individual WIAC tournament games are $10 each, or $25 for all the tournament games, based on this story from October.  Appears that they will be available on the WIAC Network.  After the WIAC tournament, who knows.

I just give Butler a tremendous amount of credit for hitting that clutch three at the end of the game Saturday night. Down 1 with 40 seconds to go and Butler knocks it down. That was a really good game. I thought Oshkosh was probably out of it when they were down 12, but to the Titans credit as well, they battled back and took that 1 point lead with 40 seconds to go.

Oshkosh was really live by the 3 and die by the 3 all season and they really didn't make enough on Saturday. LaChapell 0-7 from 3.

Butler has basically been clutch for almost every game this year. If it's not a game, it's a key moment. If not for Grieger's runaway campaign, Butler would probably get POTY.

Platteville looks pretty safe regardless but Oshkosh is looking much like a win and in, lose and probably out.
WIAC being a 4-bid league vs. a 5-bid league likely hinges entirely on whether or not Oshkosh beats Platteville in the quarterfinals.

Last year only Platteville and LaCrosse got in the tourney......

I really do hope no one buys the post-season package.

I don't even see a way to purchase all the game pass for $25, only individual games for $10.

I'm still undecided if I want to pay $10 tonight for the bigger UWO-UWP game.
