Platteville down to 16th. Will still be tight 24 hour wait for the Pioneers.

Oshkosh pretty much done at 25.

Congrats to Mitch and the Eagles.  It was a great game right down to the last possession.

The WARHAWKS hit 29 baskets to the Eagles 28, including a 7 to 2 three point advantage, but the Eagles make 23 free throws while the WARHAWKS only shoot 20 making 13.  That, Sam Grieger and a reversed call, were the story of the game.

I know that we're in the postseason.  I'm hoping we can host the first weekend.

Good luck to all the WIAC teams that qualify.

Platteville watching tv today.

Conference Finals on Sunday

CC: JHU (at-large 17) vs Gettysburg (AQ)
CNE: Endicott (lock) vs W NE (bid thief)
NEWMAC: Babson (lock) vs Wheaton MA (bid thief)
SCIAC: Redlands (lock) vs Chapman (bid thief)
SCAC: St Thomas (lock) vs Concordia TX (bid thief)

Everyone wants JHU to win. Gettysburg is the AQ, so if JHU wins, they'll open up an At-large bid because Gettysburg is too far down for consideration.

No impact on bids

GNAC: St Joseph CT vs St Joseph's ME
LL: Vassar vs RPI
LEC: Keene St vs W Conn
MASCAC: Worcester St vs Westfield St
SKY: Farmingdale St v Yeshiva
NESCAC: Trinity CT v Welseyan

Last Five In
21 Otterbein
20 Amherst
19 WPI
18 UW-Platteville
17 Johns Hopkins (vs Gettysburg)

First Four Out
22 Elmhurst
23 Farmingdale St (vs Yeshiva)
24 Concordia (TX) (vs St THomas)
25 Virginia Wesleyan

The Johns Hopkins/Gettysburg game is like a reverse bubble game. If Hopkins wins they open up a bubble slot because Gettysburg is already being counted as the AQ so they would no longer be a bid thief.

Platteville is going to make the NCAA tournament. Four WIAC teams are in!

PauldingLightUP

Platteville ends up at at large 18 and Oshkosh third out at 24.

I sense that one of the four WIAC teams is going to see Grinnell in the first round.

Don't know much about UMHB. The common opponent is Trinity TX. They lost to them twice and we beat Trinity TX in their tournament down there. So there's that, I guess. If Point wins, they'll probably play Gustavus Adolphus. They beat Platteville by 15.
