Greek Tragedy

Who knows how good Point will be this year. I suppose it depends on when Krohn returns. Of course, the news that Butler won't be ready for the opener is also concerning. I think Point is a year behind schedule. I really thought they'd make the tournament 2 years ago and were primed for a deep(ish) run last season when they were out in the 1st round. I think anything less than a Sweet 16 and conference title will be a disappointment. Whitewater was picked 6th last year and we all know what happened. I think if Oshkosh goes back to their traditional ways, they will be pretty good. I have no idea what Lewis was doing last season, but it didn't seem to work. Eau Claire looked really good in the non-conference, but tanked when it came to league play.

I'm guessing...

1. Point
2. Oshkosh
3. La Crosse
4. Whitewater
Pointers
Breed of a Champion
2004, 2005, 2010 and 2015 National Champions

I agree although the Point injuries could swap the top 2.  I probably will be sleeping on the couch since I didn't pick Stout....Heather really likes that squad.

UW-Stevens Point voted 8th in preaseason poll and even received a first place vote. UW-La Crosse comes in at 18th. UW-Whitewater, UW-Platteville, and UW-Oshkosh all in the receiving votes category.

Sky high expectations for the Pointers this season. The pressure and spotlight is all on UW-Stevens Point.

I heard the beginning of the interview, but Heather has a question:  Kent said they never lose a player at Point.  Well, AJ Uttech (her favorite player and a star at Stout) was a Pointer as a freshman. Anyone know what happened?
