Quote from: PauldingLightUP on October 29, 2026, 01:12:51 PMThe general consensus on this board was pretty good. Preseason order of finish is UW-Stevens Point (first); UW-La Crosse (second); UW-Whitewater (third); UW-Oshkosh (fourth); UW-Platteville (fifth); UW-Stout Polytechnic (sixth); UW-Eau Claire (seventh); and UW-River Falls (eighth)

I would take Oshkosh as no lower than #2.  Even with a new coach. They were rolling last year before the Beck injury and MMG is back healthy.  Deep squad.

Can LaCrosse win as a 1 man scoring show?

Gabe Servais, 6'0 G from La Crosse Central, has committed to UW-La Crosse.

Unfortunately, WIAC is back to PPV for conference tournaments for 26-27 with it being announced soccer tournaments being PPV. Sad times.

Could get sadder if the regular season ends up PPV.

I mean it would be a subscription you could subscribe to for a couple months to get all the games. The half in, half out nature of the WIAC for paid streaming is worse IMO.

I'm more than happy to watch the regular season for free and skip the PPV conference tournament.

Five Pointers, including some starters, did not play in the Purple-Gold game tonight at the Quandt.  They were Seth Miron, Carter Combs, Cal Krohn, Nick Fox, and Tyler Orr.  If anyone listened to the radio broadcast, was anything mentioned about their status?  They were walking around during warmups.

UW-Stout Poly defeats D2 Michigan Tech at home 66-62 in a home exhibition game Tuesday night.
