Sheesh Trinity is going to be a unanimous preseason number one I suspect.  Just loaded at every spot with a lot of guys who will have to sit who'd play big roles elsewhere.  Any intel on who this transfer is?

Tufts looks stacked as well, a top ten team for certain, and yet hasn't come close to Trinity's level.

I believe it is Nate Freisthler from Rutgers. He was walk on and did not play this year. Will certainly give them depth at the center position.

Agree Trinity should be number 1. Lose 2 players from their top 10 and still have the 4 core now senior players.

Nescac1 you provide great lists of the players in the portal. From last year and this years list, seems that lots of players don't find new homes.  Do you know if most just go back to original school.

D3Bball he seems like a Callahan-Gold type which should make them even more potent.  I expect they will go ten deep as usual this year.

I imagine most D3 guys who don't find a home in the portal stick with their original school.  A lot just want to test the waters and see what interest may be out there.  You have little to lose and with so much NIL money it's worth a shot ...

Looking at the tape, I'm not sure how much that's going to elevate Trinity. Certainly won't be a bad depth piece.  I've been wrong about a lot of things and that's certainly possible here.

Agree not sure how much he cracks the top 10, but they lack depth after losing 2 bigs during this past season, so he will at least give them depth.

Larry Anderson retired today after 30+ years as head coach of MIT. I recall that there was reporting at the time that he had been the favorite for the Amherst job in 2020 but withdrew from consideration to stay at MIT. Since then, MIT has had 1 winning season after a decade of dominance and Amherst's struggles have been well documented. I always found that decision to be a lose lose

Congrats to him on 30 years, he had a nice run.
Not sure his style would have been a good fit in the NESCAC. Was not big on defense, I think he makes Coach Strahorn look like Tom Thibodeau on defense, lol!
