The University of Lynchburg is looking for 1 team to fill our Wayne Proffitt Classic (December 15-16,2026) for the '26 - 27 season. Games are against Lynchburg and Randolph College.

Confirmed Teams: Randolph Macon, Salisbury, Hood, Roanoke, Vassar, SUNY Oneonta, Notre Dame (MD). 

Previous teams: Wesleyan (CT), Roanoke, Gettysburg, Notre Dame (MD),
 
Here is what we are going to be able to offer teams in year two of the event.
 
4 Hotel Rooms (doubles) on Friday Nov. 20, additional discounted hotel rates for rooming needs.
Team Meals for Saturday / Sunday. Breakfast provided at hotel, pre and post game meals at Venue and local restaurant partners. .
2 Games in Bracket in Wicomico Civic Center Arena. First round matchup on Saturday, winners move onto Champ Game on Sunday, losers move to consolation game on Sunday.
Free Shootaround / Practice time provided.
Tournament Gifts including Tournament T-Shirts.
All Tournament Teams and Awards.
Championship Banners and Awards.
Recovery Room for athletes after games, Media day photo shoot for each team, and social media updates for each game.
