For those of you who know "Former Piper Mascot"--- his father passed away this evening. Services are pending at this point.

I am so sorry to hear this. My prayers are with FPM and his family.

JR, you are living the good life my man.  :)

I'm still trying to figure out if I am a nerd or not.

After coaching baseball for 2 1/2 hours in driving cold hard rain last night, I watched the entire finals of the National Spelling Bee live on the Duece and liked it.   :-X

These frickin' 10-13 year old kids have coaches now.  :D

You are scaring me...

Duff - just put you to 600.  Seems like only yesterday I k'd you up to 500.  You're pissin' a lot fewer people off lately.  You feelin' okay? ;)

Keep those fish pictures coming.

TDT, just trying to get everything cleaned up at my office and moved to my chambers in Shakopee. The Johnnie shrine is in place at the courthouse. Today I am going to Hastings to meet with the HR director for the judges in the First Judicial District and then to Mendota Heights to meet with the executive director of the Minnesota Board on Judicial Standards to see what activities I can still be involved with. Already had to resign my position on the board of directors of the Minnesota State High School League.  :'( Next week I will be chilling out in Longville, MN on Kego Lake. Heading to Madison this weekend for my Badger son's graduation.

The trip to Talladega did not happen. My brother could not make it down to Alabama for the event, so hopefully it will happen next year. I did watch the Academy of Country Music Awards program last night to get that "down home" feeling. Maybe we should add some country music to the Stiftungsfestivities this fall. Should probably check with Paris to see if she is alright with that. ;)

JR-
I trust that if the Board tells you that it would be improper to post here, grill at Stiftungsfestivities, or rip on Bethel, you will tell them just where they can shove that job. :-*
A little Toby Keith or Carrie Underwear this fall would be just fine by me. 8)

Well put fins.

And while I'm with you on the Carrie Underwear bit, I would vote to throw in a little Miranda as well.  ;)

As the old saw goes, BDB is laughing all the way to the bank.  Now if he can only find a way to invest in people and wait for Soylent Green to come true. :o
