Congrats to Concordia for a game well played.  Their running game was very good and they killed us in tim of possession.  The second half came down to two costly TO's for the Royals and that did us in combined with Con's run game.   I also think we must have one of the worst 3rd down defenses in the conference.  I wish Concordia the best for this season and believe they deserve a playoff spot.  I also think CON and SJU will both beat Olaf by more than 13 points.

Its that damn Defense jumping up and down cheer. it is so annoying and so ridiculous looking that it motivates opposing Offenses to do something well to get ya'll to shut up!

I posted after the SJU-BU tilt that SJU averaged 10 yards per play on 3rd down.
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Glad to hear the Johnnies put the Monkey Stomp on Auggie
Tech. Hope the Stiftungsfestivities went well for Duffman,
Veek, Finsleft and everyone who attended. Rumor has it that Touchdown Tommy made a quest appearance.

Anyone checking on Raiderguy to make sure he is alright after Mount went down?

Getting ready to head over to Folsom Field for the Colorado Kansas game. Beautiful day here in Boulder. Just got back from my daughter giving me the tour of Pearl Street in downtown Boulder. Always good to see photos in her dorm room of my little girl holding an adult beverage while partying with her friends. :o

Just got back from Clemens Stadium and that was a great game, well first half at least, the second half was a little slow but good to see a large majority of the backups made it in!  The outcome was as expected and the reserves just couldn't hold onto the double MonkeystompTM but it was great nontheless.  The touchdown from Koefed to Gearman was a classic pitch and catch in double coverage and a thing of beauty.  Not much more to say than now SJU can look forward to STO next week, that will be a great game!  We even got a little snow or whatever that was that fell during the final minutes.  Oh and I still like that Luberts kid, fast but extremely tough and will be a star when he gets the start in the next few years!

Who will have a bigger impact next week:

Horace "Don't call me Harvey" Gant vs. Mike "Overrated" Zauhar

OR

Kyle "Third Person" Gearman vs. Deontae "4.3" Hutchins

I CAN'T WAIT FOR STIFFYFEST!!
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

GO JOHNNIES!!!

Fins,
Since I won't be listening until about 1:30 due to my flag football game, you're in charge of bringing home the victory in convincing fashion!

I delivered

May the kool-aid flow and the rent-a-cops be elsewhere and as always SJU SJU SJU SJU SJU SJU SJU SJU

It flowed,  and rent-a-cops were busy with some kegger out by the baseball field.
57,
I karma'ed you for the first TD since I won't be back by then. I would also Karma you for the next 4 for the same reason were it not for the damn 12 hour rule!

FAKE!!!!

run for 13 and a first down.

Not sure if it was a fake or if the punter pulled it down for fear of a block.
Watching it live, I wondered the same thing. Concluded it was a good play by the punter after almost being blocked.

Good broadcast for a one man crew.
SJU special teams mistake? Or good play by punter?
KR-I heard Bus is in Collegeville today.

Bus?

Present and totally unaccounted for!

JR -
All went well. Burgers were great - THANKS! We missed you, but all went well. The gestapo went out of their way to ignore us, no Touchdown Tommi, just some guy from Augsburg in a pink shirt that got everybody excited for a minute. Raiderguy was last seen at the La, puking out back...

See you next week.  Enjoy your time in CO with your daughter. Some talk of a Stift Eve fish fry next Friday. Stay tuned...

I wasn't basing my St. Olaf statement on today.
I just think olaf will give sju a serious run.  STO is a very fast team and playing on the fast track @SJU will help.  Also they seem to play sju pretty tough.
My prediction is
SJU 30
STO 22

I agree, pass to Gearman was a great play. Makes you wonder why that doesn't happen every other play. And ditto on Luberts. He shined. The future looks good. And when everybody notices the offense, the JOHNNIE D ruled the day and DOMINATED. Dumo, Good, McNamara et al had an outstanding day
