Any score predictions for the Stagg.  Johnnie fans: you guys have seen the Warhawks this year, and the Raiders in the past, are they comparable??

"I want to rush for 1,000 or 1,500 yards, whichever comes first."

Congratulations on the buck, Kilted. A 20 guage? What did you do, club him over the head with it?

And Freebird, I'm glad you think I'm deserving of my hard-earned karma, but no, I'm not a sport smiter. I think PC gave you a clue.

I say Whitewater by 10.  34-24.

Brann going to Beloit is suspicious.  A worse team in a worse conference.  Especially when he seemed on the cusp of turning the CAR program around.  I do not believe he has any times to the WI area which makes it even more suspicious.

Anyway, I know MAC is about to announce the new hire and after listening to three of the four candidates I know they are all qualified.  I have my favorite who I hope is hired.  Above and beyond hiring the new coach the athletic administration is ready to give football the attention it needs to bring it out of the cellar.  I predict a return to the MIAC in four years.  The people and changes are in place for this to become a reality.  Most of all, IRV CROSS is no longer tied to the program in anyway.

Well I guess it would be a lot easier to unseed SNC than it would be top beat SJU and Concordia.

IMHO, the whole smiting thing reeks of passive aggressive behavior. It definitely seems to suit some better than others!;D ::)

I haven't done the research but this run that UW-Whitewater is on has to rank up there as one of the most impressive in D3 history.  Knocking off Central, St. John's Linfield and possibly Mount Union in one season?  That is just flat out ridiculous.

Bus Driver--

Go set up a vigil for your guy Tookie.

The wierdest part of playing all four of those teams in a playoff run was that St. John's was the worst of them.

I'm back from sabbadical......

My 2 cents....

#1 - Don't lengthen the school year.  Put more money into education, reduce class sizes, and get materials to the kids.  Tennet always holds true, you can never make chicken salad out of chicken sh%$!

#2 - I hope they used a dirty needle on Tookie.  I never knew what a radical whack-job Mike Ferrel was...Go back to MASH dude!

#3 - WW in a stomp 34-10

#4 - KR and Pat have just been added to the Johnnie Red - Rock and Roll: Stiftungfest Wrestling Spectacular!

#5 - Veek is in Vegas for the Adult Movie Awards --- (Kinda looks like Ron Jeremy!!)

#6 - Out

Any thoughts on who may replace Brann in Carleton?  Could we see any assistant from another MIAC school be looked at?

Yes, being (at worst) the 5th best team in the country really shows how much St. Johns sucks.

The sad thing is that I think this board is spending more time wondering who the new coach at Carleton will be than a good number of their students and alum. When I asked my Carleton grad co-worker if he wanted to go to the Cobber/Linfield game with me, his response was "Who?". If only we were talking ultimate frisbee, he would be all over that! :)

ROR--

I didn't see you at the $1000 a plate fundraiser for Mark Kennedy the other day.  Home watching the 2003 Stagg DVD or on PP crafting a defense for the Bus Driver?

oAs,

You failed to check out the protestors in front of the Hilton.  You would
have had a much better chance to see me there.

How did your $10k picture turn out?

Bus can handle his own defense.  I am merely an occasional unpaid advisor.
