Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Reposting of this pic of Adam Eaton, whom I had mistakenly thought was pitching last night. Since I'm re-posting the same picture it is not a 2nd curse but merely an extension and renewal of the original curse. I had to use the same pic though because using a new pic would mean a 2nd curse which could in theory eliminate the 1st curse... curses can be funny in that way.

Why is Adam so dejected in this picture (Besides his current 0-1 record and Lohsiean ERA of 7.36) and what is his trainer saying to him to try to console him??

retiredoldrat, we could use the Stiftungsfestivities as a fundraiser for your friend when the Blugolds come to town on September 2. We did this for Blake's brother a few years ago and it was very successful. Let me know if it works for you.

Frank's MIAC Blog in the Times yesterday had a bit about the TODAY Show coming to SJU to do a story on the Grandson/Grandfather combo John has/will coach.

At least I can give you a reach around.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

... and with that lovely caption by the Flash, I'm heading to the Land of the Sky Blue Waters for a pair of Twins games.

Those of you watching tonights Twins game, be on the look out for 5 bare-chested pale caucasians requesting to be circled by Bert  ;D

If I can't get internet access, Wonka is in charge of the curse picture for tomorrow's game's starter Vicente Padilla. Some would say that starting against Liriano and having Carlos Lee playing Left Field is curse enough, but I'm not one to leave that sort of thing to chance.

If wonka can't get up in time or is in the heat of an intense game of Madden, I hereby deputize Fins, PC, JohnnieEsq, Kubiak, Flash, ROR, BDB, Chris56317, Duffman, Frank Rickard, MiacManiac or Piperinsider to post the curse picture.

K+ to everyone in celebration of Torii's return and the removal of Rondell White from the pressures of Left Field!

Interesting that the "TODAY" Show will be making 3 trips to C-ville for this story. Aug. 9, 28th, and the home opener on 9-2.  Perhaps Johnnie Red should get the camera crew to come to the Stiftungsfestivities as the NATIONAL exposure to Hamm's and Stiffy burgers never hurts.

Trainer: I am sure it's awkward that my hand is in your front pocket, but it's your shot.
Adam: Am I stripes or solids?

Just walk with me over here, Adam. I'm sure the team doctor can get your ears un-tucked from your hat.

PI was down at training camp this morning, braving the rain and the chilly 70 degree temperature to snap a few photos and talk to a few players.

A few things on Mr. Hoag. He is about the 7th or 8th wide receiver on the depth charts right now. He did get to work with the rookie T. Jackson this morning a lot though.

Semi-funny story. As Hoag is walking to the locker rooms with wide receivers coach Darrell Wyatt, the coach asks him, didn't you go to school here? He was off 12 miles or so.

I'll post a picture hopefully this afternoon.
