Wartburg ahead of North Central; likely a product of 8 wins vs. 7, but amusing none the less.

Having watched NC play a bit, they're ominously good. (thanks, Captain Obvious)

It's literally just the NPI sorted by region. It's kind of a nothingburger.

Yeah the only mildly interesting thing you can easily get from it is NPI averages from the regions. That doesn't even matter in bracketing though.

It's been a blast to watch what Erdmann was able to do through the air and then to have his time in Collegeville followed up with Syverson who was as impressive was almost incomprehensible! Feeney is looking phenomenal and as if he could fill Erdmann's & Syverson's shoes.

My quibbles with Feeney:
1) He is ZERO threat to run the ball.  :o
2) He tends to hang onto the ball a bit too long.
3) He occasionally forces a ball where he shouldn't.

All in all, he's doing an awesome job, and he'll progress on #s 2 and 3.

A tradition unrivaled...

If I remember correctly, Erdmann was hanging on to the ball too long as well. It was the Tommie game up in Collegeville (I was always so glad I was back home to watch that one in person) when he started firing the ball quickly, and everything really took off. Maybe Feeney has a similar pivot game.

I'm making the 3 1/2 hour trek to St Peter Saturday morning to cheer on the Johnnies in St Peter as they face the Gusties! My wife, our 17 year old daughter, & my mother are joining me & will be meeting a buddy (fellow Johnnie). If anyone else is attending, please let me know! Would love to meet anyone that comments on this board!

I can't decide what I'm doing Saturday. Last weekend we had a two day road trip to Iowa City and watched PJ's boat get sunk...again. The previous weekend we were in Madison and saw The Ohio St walk all over Bucky.
Having grown up near St Peter I've always enjoyed driving the hour or so to the MN river valley but I also am kind of looking forward to a lazy day at home. Leaning toward watching online at home and giving myself the gift of not spending 2 hours in the car.

You've had an eventful couple weeks! I'm glad that Iowa has a bye to prepare for Oregon! If we can upset them, it would go a long way towards playing for something a little more special than any old bowl game. If you do end up coming to the game, let me know & I can private message you my number so we can connect!

Bonus podcast today - in case you missed it. Insightful as to how the post season is being put together.

I am tentatively planning on attending.  Depends on whether my daughter and grandson decide to go.

There is a pregame gathering at Minnesota Wing King just east of St Peter.

They are asking people to RSVP to get a head count so they know how many people to have on staff. I went there a couple years ago before a game and they were way understaffed which impacted the speed of service.
