Hopefully he follows big bro to Collegeville.  ;D

I agree...let's keep Big Bro happy. Maybe there's a few other Spuds than might to plant themselves in Collegeville.
Little Bro even ran for 2 scores last night. I saw video of one of them and he looks far more comfortable carrying the rock than his older bro.

Lol, I can't imagine anyone looking less comfortable carrying the ball than Trey.

I hate paying for games and this year I did for only one game. D3 should be free and I agree some of the other streams are just a camera in the press box-which I do enjoy for free. I come from the time when you had to call the information desk and ask them who won!

Am I the only one who didn't realize that the MIAC moved games to noon?  Strolled into Clemens towards the end of Q1.  Grr.

Evidently it wasn't for all MIAC teams as the Bethel/Carlton game started at 1 pm. Not sure about the other games.

Happened to me at the BU v Augsburg game this year. Missed the whole 1st quarter.

Here's the official statement:
QuoteStarting this fall, game times for contests played after Daylight Saving Time ends will kick off at noon (previously 1:00 p.m.). This change was adopted by MIAC membership to match the NCAA Championships start time and provide teams with an extra hour of sunlight for late-season games. Teams may elect to kick off later if playing at a venue with game-appropriate lights.

I guess I'll have to pay attention now.

SJU has lights...no reason to start at noon.

So just curious, now that Bethel has lights, are there any MIAC stadiums that don't have lights? If not, there is no good reason to change game times.

So, starting to look ahead to the post-season games/bracket. If I understand things correctly the committee will build a bracket based on the following order:
1. Which teams put in to host
2. 500 miles
3. Higher NPI ranked teams host

I just want to clarify that an A team isn't guaranteed to host a C team. A real life example out of the first round this year - Crown is traveling as the number 40th ranked team in the tourney.

@art as I understand it.

1. 8 top NPI teams are arranged in their quads. 1 Seed (NPI 1) with 2 seed (NPI 8), 1 (NPI 2) with 2 (NPI 7), etc.

2. Then they build the rest of the bracket. Priority on NPI when possible, but it depends on who can / filed to host, 500 miles for flights, no Rd 1 rematches, and budget.  It sounds like there's every chance they might submit a bracket and then it gets sent back for including too many flights.

Bethel actually started rather slow Saturday. INT and fumble on the first 2 possessions. Plus a Knight double lateral pass for a TD.

Offense found the gas pedal after that. In addition to Rundell breaking MIAC rec record with 21 and tying the single game TD rec mark with 5, Drew's went off too. 405 yds passing. 7 total TD's, 6 passing and another rushing. Tied his own high water mark with 38 completions.

D played great. Outside of the trick play, they locked it down. Only gave up 17 yds rushing and 79 yards of total offense on the day. Now need to stay healthy against CSS and get healthier with a bye. Looks like we lost a WR to a broken ankle and an OLineman with a leg injury.
