Outstanding! SJU is finally hearing the fans. Paying the highest season ticket and tailgate lot access in the MIAC the fanbase is sooooo tired of paying top dollar to watch yet another noncompetitive non-conference match up. Win or lose playing a top tier non-conference opponent is a positive for the program. Go Johnnies!
I mean this applies to last year with Morris for sure, but 2024 they played Wartburg non con, 2023 they played Trinity and Whitewater, 2022 they played Whitewater. Over the past few years they have played tough non con. Feel like this is more of a shift for Bethel to really challenge themselves non con.

Bethel played Wartburg in 2023 and Platteville in 2022 but I can understand why the memory would be short when it's been Northwestern the past two years.

Bethel had played some very good ARC and WIAC comp. The gams with Northwestern was essentially their HC claiming they'd love to play us, but Coach J avoided them. Mac called their bluff, and then we got the thank you from their AD two years ago. He recognized we could have scored 100 but called off the dogs.

Love the NCC game. Mac has his eyes on getting to the top. Gotta test yourself to get there. Also a good way to get in front of Chicago recruits.

Kudos to both BU and SJU. Here's to 2 marquee wins and a top 5 showdown to start October!
