Heh.  Art.

Also, I note that UWLC's season has been a disaster.  From such high hopes to another loss this week.  The only team in the T25 to lose.

UW-Stout is a solid squad. Lost to WW by 6 and Platteville by 4. The other L was to a D2, so they sit with 2 L's to highly ranked teams.

Quote from: art76 on October 24, 2026, 07:02:55 PMSo, I'm watching the last few minutes of the St. Olaf/St. Scholastica game and I cannot believe what I am hearing, over, and over, and over. Apparently nobody told the broadcasters announcing the game that the mascot name for their opponent does note rhyme with "hole" or "sole". Yikes.

Art76 —Giving score rundowns when I was listening to their broadcast a couple of weeks ago, the "color guy" worked hard and even corrected himself on occasion throw an extra syllable into "Carl-eh-ton". Maybe that's where your last "e" in Ole landed.
If the human brain were so simple that we could fully understand it...we would be so simple that we couldn't.

If I had to place a bet right now on which team will win the D3 championship I'm putting it on UW-Plattville

Looks like Gusties have their first-string QB for the trip to Collegeville. His fill-in moved to a receiver spot.

Muppet magic at the end of the podcast this week - you can count on it.

Good. No excuses when the Johnnies beat the hell out of them.
